Just as a point of clarification, your quote is correct but it wasn’t MK who said it, it was that season winner Jay McCarroll and he was talking about other contestant Wendy Pepper about how she was going to be able to defend her horrible design and was losing her mind. Michael did say something like “You’ve taken something you already feel dowdy in and made it even more matronly.” It was the postal service uniform challenge in season 1….and yep, before you say it, I’m a Project Runway freak.
