“A Lake County school district has agreed to implement a comprehensive program to address anti-gay harassment to settle a complaint lodged by the family of a 14-year-old boy who said he was bullied… Under the settlement announced Wednesday, the Upper Lake Union Elementary School District agreed to give anti-discrimination training to staff and students, outline disciplinary actions for harassment in its student handbooks and support the establishment of a gay-straight alliance club at its middle school.” [San Francisco Chronicle]
