Schwarzenegger Loves Gay Couples, Especially When They Work For Him

This is almost like a marriage announcement, but not:

Kevin Broadwater, the domestic partner of James Vaughn, Director of the California Log Cabin Republicans, has been appointed by the Governor to the State Independent Living Council.

Vaughn was appointed last year by Governor Schwarzenegger to the California State Bar Board of Governors Examining Committee. This marks the first time that a gay Republican couple has served in an administration.

Now that’s some real gay history!
