Former Seaman John Dokken wants the Navy to reverse his "other than honorable" discharge. Dokken claims officials mislabeled him a homo and then threw him in a military prison, where another inmate raped him. The Navy sticks to its story: Dokken admitted to being a homo. He insists that's not the case and won't rest until he and his ass are vindicated. [Washington Blade]

you know, if he's not gay… and he was raped, such a discharge (and the resulting effects of it) could be VERY devastating to an individual.
I agree…if its been bothering him for 30+ years and he is now paying his own legal bill, he deserves to be heard!
how old was he when this happened? I'm guessing he was pretty young and everything I've read about military interrogations makes me think they don't obey all the niceties criminals get in civil courts.
I agree with the previous comment – his case should be heard.
