You NEVER stand close enough that they can reach out to strike you. You NEVER approach anyone unless you're ready to throw the first punch and you NEVER stop fighting when on the ground. You dig your teeth into their eye, ear, or better still, their neck. If you can't walk away, then be prepared to maim, or kill in order to defend yourself. These guys NEVER travel alone, so if you can, take out the "leader" of the group. Cut the head off a dog and the tail stops wagging. That said, I hope the men are alright and Seattle cops get the trash that did this and lock them up.
