We all know that equality in the city of Houston suffered a major defeat yesterday. Though even Beyonce is being blamed, the truth is that good old fashioned lies led to the repeal of HERO, the Houston equal rights ordinance. Thankfully, Seth Meyers is here to debunk them and make us laugh in the process.
We hope the HERO advocates all watch this video for a good idea of what they need to do to get Houston’s equal rights back when the time comes for another campaign.

It was incredibly ugly, the transphobic lies that were used. proof that an ignorant and uninformed populace is easier to control.
