Actually, the infection rates in some regional(read: rural)areas are as high as 15-30%.
I lived in the Victorian countryside for a year, studying nursing. Some country folk (still!) assume that only homosexuals get HIV/AIDS and that the people who live in out in the bush are cleaner than city-dwellers.
I think the best place for sex in Melbourne is Club80.
