Women who have “sex” with women often do it at these swinger clubs where male-male activity is banned. Thus, it is women who are oppressing male homosexuality by agreeing to this double standard.

Can I just ask, what constitutes a “same-sex experience”? Kissing once? Making out? Full-on sex? Oral sex? What? They have the same f-king problem with every survey, they’re never specific. And that woman says gay, straight, and bisexual doesn’t cover it but what did the test subjects identify themselves as?

I know girls who’ve banged girls ONCE, it doesn’t make them lesbian, it doesn’t even necessarily make them bi. It annoys me because straight people dalliances always trivialize our orientations, those of us who aren’t of the general “norm”.

It’s like, now, a woman who bangs 1 chick and 50 men is somehow the equivalent of a bisexual or lesbian because of that one instance.

I call BS on this British survey. It’s a survey which fails to explain the very low level of men reporting same-sex experiences (only 7%).

We all know that most men have, at one time or another, engaged in some form of same-sex experimentation, if not fully blown sexual intercourse.

The survey also fails to explain why the number of women who engage in same-sex experiences has increased from 4% to 16%. It puts forward some woman who claims that women are more “open-minded” than men. Bull sh!t.

If anything, men are far more sexual and open-minded than women. Logically, men should engage in same-sex experiences far more often than women. And they do. The reason they don’t report it is due to the fact that men don’t like to advertise their same-sex experiences. They aren’t rewarded for doing so.

On the other hand, women are often rewarded by men for engaging in same-sex experiences. This is also reflected in the rewards that men give women for wearing revealing clothing. What we are therefore seeing is an increased tendency for women to prostitute themselves sexually by engaging in same-sex experiences with other women for the benefit of men.

Here’s another important point about the women and their attitudes to male homosexuality: women fear it unless it is segregated.

When male homosexuality is strictly divided away from the rest of society, women say things like “oh, I don’t mind gay men”. However, when male homosexuality is present in men who are also attracted to women, these same women say “Ewww, I’m not going to date THAT type of guy”.

Remember this about women: their entire being is dependent on extracting rewards from men. From wearing as little clothing as possible to claiming to be interested in sex to pretending to be bisexual, it is all one great big charade. It is a charade which enables them to be rewarded.

If male homosexuality is de-shamed and de-segregated by being brought into the mainstream, women would find it threatening. They would find it threatening because it would provide an option for men that does not involve rewarding women. Her life-line would be cut off.

MAN WHO SHAMELESSLY CHOOSE TO TURN TO OTHER MEN RATHER THAN TO WOMEN REPRESENT A SERIOUS THREAT TO HER ABILITY TO MILK THE SYSTEM THAT REWARDS HER.

These kinds of surveys are always inaccurate and nonspecific and men are so dishonest about their sexuality,so don’t be suprised when the closet cases deny having same sex experiences which consequently flaws the survey.A lot of “straight” guys who have had a gay ol’ time will try to take that secret to the grave with them, because of this homophobic heterosexist culture.

      GeriHewson,

You cannot use a fetish like slash fiction to illustrate attitudes to a sexual orientation. Fetish and orientation are not one and the same thing. Note that men who watch lesbian porn are not necessarily open-minded to lesbian rights.

@Pistolo: The survey breaks it down into men who reported same-sex *genital* sex.
This is 5% – and only 2.5% in the past five years.
Not sure what the others consider ‘sex’…

As above sex surveys are hilariously unreliable, both for under-reporting and over-reporting.

London is a city with three or four baths that are all well used. Men are by far more sexually adventuresome than women. Many guys do not care who blows them as well as they are good at it. This study is highly tainted by the social desireability effect.

@jimbryant: Your mother really screwed up your head. You are such a misogynistic ass. I know many, many women who are either the sole support for the family or that serve as the primary support. How a woman dresses has zero influence on anything other than their personal prefence. I also have known a few women that get off on the thought of watching or having two men together. Just because you are gay does not mean you have to hate women.

@tdx3fan: Not to mention, the biggest problem with the logic of gay women haters is that they blame women for homophobia, and that is asinine. Women are much less homophobic than men.

      tdx3fan,

Oh, please, cut the crap about women getting off on watching two men together. As I said earlier, this is a fetish. Fetish is NOT the same as orientation. Stop using a fetish to illuminate an argument on orientation.

Women are extremely homophobic towards male homosexuality if it is not segregated. Context is everything. It’s similar to attitudes to blacks. Many people are OK with blacks so long as they stick to the ghettos. Bring blacks into a white neighbourhood and these same people will start murmuring their displeasure at having blacks amongst them.

If male homosexuality is segregated, women may not mind it. If it’s part of the mainstream (ie by existing in men who are also attracted to women), women consider it a threat to their ability to attract and extract rewards from men.

@Pistolo: OMG! It’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to most writers and surveyors. – – they lack explanation and specifics

I remember listening to this guy on a talk show and he didn’t include the internet or other electronic media statistics regarding the violence people see in entertainment media. He just measured TV statistics. I just rolled my eyes, shook my head and said to myself, “Are you freaking kidding me. How out of touch can a person be? This made his survey worth diddly squat.
