Seldom has a politician had the moxie to actually stand by his convictions and do some good in the cesspool of politics. When I voted for him, I admit my hand was pinching my nostrils, hoping he wasn't a secret stinker. Man did he surprise. Sturdy, smart, deliciously articulate and honestly a good guy (perfect no, but that's boring). He's not done, that's for sure. Hoping for something bigger from Newsom. Major bummer. Gavin thought he could swim in that pool and thrust out of the water and into the light of day like Daryl Hannah in Splash. Fail.
