We haven’t the foggiest what the German actors are saying in this Braun commercial, and, quite frankly, we don’t think it matters.

Translation:
1: Say, what the heck to you think this is?
2: A butterfly?
3: A car?
4: A map?
1: This is the Bundeswehr (German armed forces).
Even though I’m in Germany, I’ve not seen this anywhere on German TV yet.
Translation FYI: The ranking officer comes in and asks (more or less), “Just what do you think this is?!” the soldiers turn and guess “A butterfly” and then “A car” and “A map” in turn. And then the ranking fellow yells, “That/This is the German Federal Armed Forces.” Hence the closer look and the one fellow’s confused expression.
Woops…beat me to it.
Aww – German guys are soo hottt! More importantly – guys that speak German are even hotter!
