The point, as far as I can see, is that the people who visit and contribute get to think. The material is varied and changes frequently
which is interesting but doesn't always leave a lot of time for people to respond . There are constructive ways to make your needs met, especially if you need something from people who work hard at doingh something. If you're an adult, that is.

In any case, the issue about people voting is pertinant. This year is the most that I've sensed that people are excited about voting.
I've been reading a great book by Saramago
who tells a lale about a democracy where everyone refuses to vote and the government is pushed to force people to vote because of indifference. I'm not finished yet, but it is the case that people often don't vote because I think that in America, they have felt progressively helpless over what happens due to the influence of money and lobbiests.
I buy that.

Ads are a fact of life in these things – bandwidth/blogs/message boards cost money, so I’ll wait out the 30 seconds or so to load the Morning Goods guy and … cope with it. ( I can tell in one or two if he’s worth the trouble of examining all.)
