Singing, Dancing Palin?
Bullshit!

Sarah Palin has done a lot in her young life. She's been a beauty queen, a sports journalist, a mother, a mayor, Governor and a Republican vice-presidential nominee. So it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to imagine that the 44-year old found time in the mid-to-late 1990s to sing with the Wasilla Singers, a Christian group named after her small Alaskan town.

That's a claim made by an obviously anti-Palin YouTuber, who posted this April, 1999, footage allegedly showing Palin belting for the Bible. Visually speaking, it's hard to tell whether the indicated singer is, in fact, the potential vice-president. (She's standing on the far-left, which seems like an odd placement for such a gal. Although, to be fair, it is her right.)

So, readers, what do you think about this? Has some scoundrel simply trying to pass this singer as Palin, or is the politico really that much of a renaissance woman?

Update: Reader A Quinn's bottomless knowledge of Christian groups helped identify the band as The Way Christian Church, which is based in Ohio. That makes us sad.

It kind of does look like Palin but it's hard to be sure. And even if it is … what difference is it? We knew Palin was an uber-Christian who wants to force women to give birth their rapist's children and 'convert' gays to be straight.

I don't think this is her. She looks too tall and too old for Palin, who would have been in her early to mid-30s at the time.

wishful thinking I'm afraid….this group has been all over with some radical Christian dance moves, but it identified as The Way Christian church in Ohio…

That song (Walk In His Footsteps) was awful. It makes “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall” seem like great song writing.

Ohio is not in Alaska, but they do have polar bears at their zoo.

I know this because I grew up in Michigan and you can see Ohio from there. So I'm an Ohio expert.

Want to be on television in an anti-gay ad against gay marriage? Three video crews will be patrolling the Folsom Street Fair this weekend to get footage to make anti-marriage video's to play in the California media market. Be on your best behavior!

Are you people blind? That's not Sarah Palin or anything close. It's idiots who put this crap out — like that bogus book list — that make the REAL stupid shit she's involved in get lost. Now the media will be able to say "more false claims about Sarah Palin" because some dumbass puts this video up saying that it's her when it is so obviously not. The woman is a religious whack-job. Why make up stuff when you can be more effective sticking to the facts.
