Colorado resident Gerald Horner does a pretty good job of taking anti-gay lawmaker Sally Kern down a peg: “One of the biggest falsehoods that people like Ms. Kern believes is that homosexuality is a choice. Gays do not choose their sexuality, but many gays do choose to serve their country, their families and their communities.” Chew on that, Kern! [Denver Post]

I’m with anyone with a strong voice against Kern. But I concur that the argument doesn’t hinge on whether being gay is a choice or not. It’s people like Kern herself who are the new terrorists, although it may be years before those chickens come to roost. Queeristan – Shaming the Shameless
