So Much For That: Jacob Meister Abandons Hope Of Filling Roland Burris’ Senate Seat With a Gay

It wasn’t just being denied a chance to debate his opponents. Gay U.S. Senate hopeful Jacob Meister’s campaign just didn’t pick up any traction in Illinois, and it has him dropping out from the longshot chance to replace Roland Burris and become the Senate’s first out homo. Because Larry Craig doesn’t count. And neither will Charlie Crist if he wins Florida.

The Republicans will win this seat because of Democrat corruption in Illinois and the Obama effect.

Non-story. I am going to be lobbying whoever wins this race. It doesn’t matter what Party they are – it matters if we lobby them. Lobbying is how you change votes. This will guarantee our victory.
