Gay U.S. Senate hopeful Jacob Meister’s campaign just didn’t pick up any traction in Illinois, and it has him dropping out from the longshot chance to replace Roland Burris and become the Senate’s first out homo. Because Larry Craig doesn’t count. And neither will Charlie Crist if he wins Florida.
