Turns out Tom Hardy’s discussion of sleeping with dudes before are authentic — but they’re old.
The Daily Mail quotes a 2008 Now magazine article, which itself picked up from an Attitude magazine cover story featuring Hardy, promoting RocknRolla. But when the Mail‘s piece came out, a “source” close to Hardy insisted he was merely quoting from a script. Not so!
And for what it’s worth, in his Attitude interview, while Hardy says he’s messed around with guys, he’s never done it “all, but I can imagine.” Us too, buddy.

What did I write? I wrote that he most likely never had sex with any man. Yet I got a lot of thumbs down and gay men disagreeing with me. You would think gay men having thousands of experiences with heterosexuals from day one of their lives and seeing many interviews just like the one Tom Hardy did would recognize what he said was a ploy to look cool, open-minded, and edgy. He’s also not universally “okay looking” just b/c you find him to be. Besides that, what makes him hot goes beyond his actual physical features. I’d still say, from the utterly unscientific statistical sample that is the people I know, many share my opinion.
But, as I also said, I can see that others may not feel the same way, and that’s all right.
