Nicki is under no obligation to be nice. In fact, this expectation that a female judge needs to be nice, is very suspect, especially when we keep in mind how much Simon Cowell was lauded for his nastiness. Expecting niceness from a female judge, yet celebrating nastiness from a male one, is just straight up sexist.
Let’s wait for episodes to start airing for us to see whether her criticisms are on point or not. If not, then by all means, read her for filth. But if they are, and you still want to come for her, take a minute to reflect on the sexist blinders that make people expect a female in public to be extremely sugary sweet lest she be labelled a “bitch”.
Getting mouthy with Mariah isn’t a very smart move if she were a pop singer, but rappers thrive on conflict. And that’s assuming that the beef is even real. Even Mariah’s husband Nick has expressed skepticism that a closed set would allow some random crew member to film them on their camera phone close up for several minutes without anyone noticing. It seems more like something the producers are manipulating Nicki and Mariah’s public personae into, rather than a real thing.

Give a girl a shot on an outdated reality show and she thinks she’s sombody.
She should stick to what she does best… whatever that is, cuz it ain’t singing.
She has a way of taking a comment, any comment, and making all about dissing her. She’s such a diva, but she seems to forget she’s not one yet. Not even close. She should just take her image that she stole from Lady Gaga & Katy Perry, her pit bull lip gloss, and her beeyotch attitude and move along. Nothing to see here. Not even the washed up music show she’s on.

I think the problem is nobody is saying anything nasty about her (maybe that’s the problem, she’s not happy unless she’s unhappy), yet she finds a way to be insulted and outraged. Girl needs a reality check. She’s not Mariah yet.
