Sometime-Marriage Advocate Michael Bloomberg Doesn’t Want Anyone Else Serving 3 Terms Like Him

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg: A man of contradictions. He’s the guy who says he fully supports The Gays’ right to get gay married, but supports candidates who want to take that right away, and previously had his administration file suit to keep any such reality from taking place. Oh, and now he’s the guy who spent millions to be able to serve a third term by changing city election law, but now says he supports returning to a two-term maximum … for anyone who comes after him.

America is founded on the Golden Rule: Whoever got the Gold make the Rules. As far as “term limits” for politicians are concerned, we’ve already got them: we call them ELECTIONS.

I’d like to see 12 year limits for all elected officials, local, state and federal and 20 year limits on appointed positions (e.g., judges). That would put a big dent in the logrolling that goes on.
