SCREAM QUEEN

Soon You Won’t Need DirecTV To See Nick Jonas On TV, Thanks To Ryan Murphy

joe-jonas-how-i-got-my-body-360x223American Horror Story got weird this season — you aren’t the only one who thinks so. But by this time next year we’ll be so wrapped up in Ryan Murphy‘s new, definitely-nothing-like-AHS, hour long horror-comedy Scream Queen that we’ll surely have forgotten all about Freak Show. Except for Dandy — we’ll never forget him.

Now our favorite gay panderer (and in this case we really do mean that term positively) Nick Jonas has been added to the cast, set to appear opposite the physically beautiful (but then he has to go and open his mouth) Joe Manganiello of True Blood fame.

No word yet on whether Jonas is playing the title character.

Also confirmed in the cast are Lea Michele (Glee), Keke Palmer (Akeelah and the Bee), Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine), Emma Roberts (American Horror Story), and Jamie Lee Curtis (True Lies). Ariana Grande is set to guest star.

Plot details haven’t been released, but the combination of the words “Ryan Murphy” and “horror-comedy” should give a fairly clear idea of what’s to come.

We’ll certainly be turned in, if only to catch the inevitable shirtless Jonas scenes.
