The Florida Family Association claims it got Kodak to drop sponsorship of Teen Nick’s DeGrassi: The Next Generation after pressuring the film and tech giant to abandon the show because it features a transgender character.
Kodak responded with, “Uh, no, that’s not what happened at all, you dumbasses.” Well, actually officials from the company said they stopped ads as part of a “planned pause” in their schedule and are running ads on DeGrassi again next week.

Degrassi is one of the most amazing shows on earth. It goes where many programs for ADULTS won’t go — and definitely doesn’t shy away from any of the major issues. I’m really glad that my generation has a show like this, something that isn’t just another drama about teen angst or a carbon copy of 90210.

All of the Degrassi series have always been ahead of their time. Degrassi TNG has always featured radical storyline designed to make people talk since its inception with multiple gay and lesbian characters.

I used to vicariously attend degrassi high!
