Sorry, Steve-O: Pougnet Loses Bid to Become House’s First Gay Daddy

So it’ll just be four homos in the House, not five, as Palm Springs Steve Pougnet lost his race to Republican incumbent Mary Bono Mack in California. Pougnet would’ve been the first gay House member with kids. There is some good news: Some 106 gay candidates were elected to office around the country yesterday.
