Space!

Awww, New Zealand’s Parliament is just so sweet! In honor of the island’s gays and all the good they bring, Parliament just dedicated a new room in its building. And they named it the Rainbow Room! We gays now join a number of other “minority” groups in having a special nook of our own. Said Speaker Margaret Wilson, “All of these rooms tell the story of honest and full representation in the New Zealand Parliament.” [Stuff NZ]

Jeeeesus Chriiiiiist, tiny New Zealand can give us a room in their Parliament. If only our Gay Community was as united. I’m talking to you, self hating conservatives. I’m pretty sure they don’t have some dumbass Maori “Log Cabin Republicans” there.

New Zealand is pretty great when it comes to LGBT acceptance. Their electorate was the first in the world to elect a transgender MP. And there’s an openly gay person in the governments cabinet. Way to go, NZ!
