Spitzer Staying?
Our collective head’s spinning. Just as we were getting used to the idea of prostitute seeing Governor Eliot Spitzer resigning, senior aide Lloyd Constantine says otherwise, “He has not made up his mind… It is more correct to say that he is not resigning.” Meanwhile, a source close to the Spitzer household says that wife Silda “doesn’t want to look at him, and he doesn’t want to bear the look that she gives when she does look at him.” That’s deep. She knew. A woman always knows. Then again, maybe I’ve just seen too many old Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Crawford movies.
I think Spitzer should resign and be disbarred.
