Ralph Nader just can't quit ruining presidential races. The politico launched an exploratory committee to test the electoral waters. He gets an 'A' for tenaciousness, but a big fat 'F' for pragmatism.

Just like the editors of this blog couldn’t stop tinkering with its format until they ruined it. If web traffic means anything to you “pros†how much have you lost since you went to the remedial reading format?
Running for office doesn't ruin elections, a system which privileges two groups at the exclusion of others ruins them. It isn't democracy if you don't want the choices presented.
He isn't "ruining" anything. The Dems have done that themselves, selling out yet again to corporate shills as their nominees. It makes perfect sense for Nader to do this, especially now that Edwards is out.
And Scott is dead right. It's democracy. We should have more choices, not fewer. The two party system is crippling this country.
Spot on, Andy, Ralph Nader is not pragmatic at all: the result of his running for election (back in the day when 5% of voters were excited enough by his platform to actually vote for him) is to take votes away from the Democrats and help the Republicans. One can only assume that this was not what he intended.
You might think voting for someone who doesn't have a chance in hell to win is "making a point" but other people might call that "throwing your vote away"
I will NEVER forgive Ralph Nadar for helping Bush "win" the 2000 election.
In my opinion, Ralph isn't focused on anything else except Ralph these days.
Thanks for warning us about the Chevrolet Corvair, but that was then and this is now.
Fuck Nader!
