Steven Colbert, Dan Savage Talk Gay

As part of his new segment, Gay Roundup, Comedy Central’s Steven Colbert invited gay sexpert Dan Savage to explain the newly passed Matthew Shepard Act.

And, of course, what gay roundup would be complete with a little look at Larry Craig and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The results? Hilarious.

I love Savage Love, it’s the highlight of almost every Tuesday. But Dan Savage comes across as such a tool in interviews.

Love Stephen Colbert and The Daily Show – the only place to get real news these days. And Dan Savage – I had a higher opinion of him from his columns which were always funny and twisted; but seeing him live – ehh..

I’ve never liked Savage. He’s one of those know it alls, who knows nothing. Not to mention a slut; stating he would not be monogamous with his partner, who is ten years younger than him and should, apparently, stay at home minding their son, while Mike goes out trolling for cock–circumcised cock.

Lol! Very funny stuff!!

By the way, Mr. Raposo, you yourself come across as “…one of those know it alls, who knows nothing.” You malign Mr. Savage (whose name isn’t Mike) using erroneous facts.
He and his partner participate in their extra-marital escapades together!
His partner is seven years younger, not ten.
The partner works from home as a Potter.
According to Mr. Savage, he is partial to both circumcised and uncircumcised cocks. He was introduced to the latter in Germany and came to appreciate them too.

Read his books and stop accusing others of things you yourself are guilty of.

:-)

If their marriage works, it’s no business of yours Raposo. Non-monogamy does not equal “slut”, except perhaps in your judgmental mind.

“You malign Mr. Savage (whose name isn’t Mike)”

Oh my! I maligned MISTER Savage. Oh deary me, run for the hills, mary!

“He and his partner participate in their extra-marital escapades together!”

Who watches their child while their put trolling for cock?

“His partner is seven years younger, not ten.”

Oh well then, that makes it ok.

“The partner works from home as a Potter.”

Does MISTER Savage not let him have a job? bare foot and pregnant, ‘eh?

“According to Mr. Savage, he is partial to both circumcised and uncircumcised cocks. He was introduced to the latter in Germany and came to appreciate them too.”

I based that statement on what he wrote in his article discussing their decision to not circumcise. I suppose his sluttiness has paid some dividends.

“Read his books and stop accusing others of things you yourself are guilty of.”

No.

“Raposo who the hell are you to judge dan savages marriage?”

A person with an opinion.

“you don’t even know them.”

Thanks god for small miracles.

“If their marriage works, it’s no business of yours Raposo.”

Oh, you’re right. It’s their business–and their kid’s. Or does he not matter?

“Non-monogamy does not equal ‘slut’”

That’s exactly what a slut is, non-monogamous. If one isn’t enough, a thousand aren’t too many.

“except perhaps in your judgmental mind.”

Who is judging who now?

I miss Dan’s Drag Act. That would be a lot more fun while responding to Colbert :)

Personally, I hate Dan Savage. He gives good advice sometimes, but more often than not he comes off as a bitter queen. And don’t get me started on his douchebaggery when it comes to trans people.
