And now it’s time for folk hero Steven Slater to cash in. Fellow treasured meme Antonie Dodson is pulling in some cash by sponsoring a sex offender tracking app, and now JetBlue’s recent fire has signed with Line2 to push its “Mile High Text Club” contest, to promote the service’s in-flight texting product. Because sometimes using Slater to generate free press costs something.
