IT'S FINE

Steven Slater’s JetBlue Exit Costs Him $10,000 And 1 Year Probation. Worth It?

JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater became a service industry hero in August 2010 when he grew so fed up with a passenger that he grabbed a beer from the beverage cart, inflated the plane’s emergency slide and was all like, “I’m out, bitches.”

In October he copped a plea deal to a felony count of reckless endangerment, but now the gavel has finally come down on the coolest job quitter ever and it’s gotta hurt.

A judge has sentenced Slater to one year of probation and a $10,000 fine for misdemeanor attempted criminal mischief. $10,000?!! Yikes.

Yes, it’s a lot to pay, but at least he’ll be remembered as a badass. Well, at least until the next awesome job abandoner comes along.
