Stop Trying To Break Into Ellen + Portia DeGeneres’ House

In 2007 Ellen DeGeneres snapped up two Beverly Hills properties and merged them together into a “compound,” spending $37.5 million in the process. Evidently some crazed female fan wanted a closer look on Thursday, so she dared trespass on The House That Coming Out On A Sitcom Built. It didn’t go well. Where is Antoine Dodson when you need him?

“The property is protected by a 24-hour security team that detected and detained the intruder until she was turned over to the custody of Beverly Hills police officers, who arrested her,” says Ellen’s rep in a statement. “The intruder never entered the actual residence, and did not make any contact with either Ellen or Portia. Ellen and Portia appreciate the fast and effective response of BHPD officers.” The trespasser didn’t even walk away with a CoverGirl gift bag, can you believe!

I’ve been in their neighborhood. There is a drive that goes up the hill as you get to their main house. I know they bought up some of the properties on that street and I think the drive that goes up to the main house might be private now. That has to be a scary moment for anyone!
