Drama queen alert!

Two male Filipino celebrities are suing a gossip columnist for intimating they were getting intimate. Actors Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby (pictured) say they’re crushed by anxiety and insomnia after Lolita Solis tarnished their good straight names:

Solis had written in her Filipino-language column in the Oct. 15, 2007 issue of the Pilipino Star Ngayon that she saw the pair three days earlier having coffee at a local five-star hotel behaving in a manner “inappropriate” between two men.

“She made several innuendos therein as regards our alleged manner towards each other, unexpected from, and inappropriate of two gentlemen. The article was evidently intended to portray us as gay men and to discredit our reputation as bankable artists.”

The implication that gay speculation can ruin their careers really burns us up. Seriously, it’s not as if Solis said you killed babies and ate their brains. It’s also worth noting that both men have been dogged by gay rumors and are still uber-successful.
