Somehow dropping your shorts on the soccer field is a means of protesting not getting paid. God bless the Spanish and their football traditions.

The Spanish on their white shirts roughly translates to "with our asses in the air."
@Michael: Best tourism campaign slogan ever?
@Mark – so true. I still don't get it, but who cares, LOVE IT!!
Isn't the phrase 'having my pants taken down' mildly homophobic? Because I think that's what they're saying, in a visual metaphor kind of way.
@Moo – I don't think that was their intention. At least that's not the impression I get. It seems more like mooning someone when your a kid.
@Sebbe: But no arse, shame.
I am not Spanish and perhaps I just possess a dirty mind, but it seems to me that what these soccer players are saying, in essence is, "If you are going to fuck me, at least let me drop my shorts first."
Heh. I know enough Spanish to know what their shirts say…this made me laugh more than the pants-dropping!
If it were up to me, I would pay them even less in hopes they would take off more clothes.
:))
Oh those Spanish ^) Nothing holy…!
