The thing that is so ultimately homophobic is the fact that the media absolutely knows all of this and yet they still keep hiding it as if it is something shameful.

Wow, much different story than I was expecting. Kevin sounds like an honorable guy who just wants to be in a real, OUT relationship. The celebrity bf would be a fool if he’s too chicken to go through with it.

I hope there is a noose around Lanfece’s (sic) neck real soon. If he had wanted an open relationship he should have moved on! Not much respect for Aaron or the relationship. What a loser Lafeces (sic) is

Rodgers HAD been agreeable to the idea of coming out this summer (in a mass NFL outing), but “his backing out at the last minute infuriated Lanflisi, shattering their relationship.”

Sounds like Rodgers is the a-hole.

@Dakotahgeo: “Common sense”? Wanting an out relationship is common sense. And Lanflisi is certainly willing to “move on” if he doesn’t get it (as promised). Why is it up to Lanflisi to go away “quietly” as you put it? F U – who made you the Emily Post of gay relationship etiquette?

Any non-famous person might feel the same way, unless maybe they had a lot of internalized self-hating homophobia, like you do, that you don’t even recognize as such.

@ppp111: I see your point, but – unless they’re leaving stuff out of the story – KL seems to regard it as a matter of principle. The planned “mass NFL outing” and all that. It’s not as if Rodgers is expected to come out this summer, solo, as the first & only out NFL player. He’d be one of several or many.

I hope Rodgers re-changes his mind and goes ahead with it. After all, with all the rumors he’s outed for all practical purposes anyway, whatever KL does or doesn’t do. He already has all the disadvantages without the advantages.

To be honest when I first heard of that ‘mass outing’ earlier this year I had an inkling one of them would be Rodgers or some other high profile player. If I remember correctly one reason they didn’t do that was one of the players had a contract that had to be renegotiated or extended and money was one factor. Still, it would have been interesting to say the least.

Liberals will avoid male homosexuality unless there’s a political tack to it. Only then can they use it to fight their culture war against conservatives.

If male homosexuality is not politically useful to liberals, they tend to avoid mentioning it. An example is when male homosexuality exists in men who are also attracted to women.

      the other Greg,

What you’ve got to understand is that, while conservatives are anti-gay, it’s more of a studied opposition than a phobia. It’s an opposition based on doctrine – ie the doctrine of the Bible.

I’m not saying that this makes it acceptable, I’m simply saying there’s a certain “logic” (warped as it is) in conservative opposition to homosexuality.

On the other hand, liberals are notoriously homophobic, especially to male homosexuality. They prefer female homosexuality to male homosexuality. They think female bisexuals are “hot” but male bisexuals are “gross”. They avoid male homosexuality.

Aversion is the symptom of phobia. Liberals might support our rights but they do not support the substance of what we do. They will often go “ewww” at the sight of two men kissing.

In fact, in liberal enclaves like Greenwich Village, it’s rare to see two men holding hands. The reason is liberal homophobia.

I hate to say this but jimbryant does bring up some interesting points. In my experience in college, most of the ‘ews’ were against male homosexuality. And all this was from progressive, liberal students, particularly male. Mind you, they are probably one of the most ardent supporters of gay rights but they make it clear they don’t understand male homosexuality. At least with the Right, their opposition tends to be equal opportunity. Ah well.

      ppp111,

You have hit the nail on the head. You are spot-on.

Liberal homophobia is the main reason why you don’t see two men walking down the street holding hands in America today unless, of course, it’s an enclave with a very high concentration of gay men, like Castro Street.

I would add that it isn’t just liberal males who go “ewww” at the sight of two men kissing. Liberal women are just as bad but are better at hiding it.

Also remember that just because most of the opposition is against male homosexuality, doesn’t mean they embrace or accept lesbianism. I guess I like to equate it with the white supramacists. Please, folks. Let’s stop the bickering and finger-pointing about who or what should be at fault for someone not coming out. We have all been there before and make our own decisions about how to live openly and honestly and that choice is our own to make. I, like many of you, would LOVE for Aaron to come forward with his sexuality but at the same time I can empathize with him and can only imagine what it must be like to choose between the person you love and your public image, which is tied to MILLIONS in endorsement deals. Overall, I hope that Aaron can find love and be happy. If he comes out, that would be wonderful! If not, then it is HIS choice. Not the media’s or even his lover’s, but his and his alone.

It’s true that liberals won’t always accept lesbianism, especially if it threatens male heterosexual privilege. However, if lesbianism agrees with male heterosexual privilege – such as when it’s prostituted out to men for reasons of titillation – it most certainly is accepted.

When an aspect of one’s life is prostituted to straights just for their enjoyment I would hardly call that acceptance. I think I know where you’re coming from but it’s usually lipstick lesbians who are the objects of desire for straight men. I hardly think someone like Ellen or Rosie would be any straight man’s fantasy. Just my opinio mind you and no jibe to those two ladies.

Maybe they are men who are into both men and women. Just because a man has a relationships with a man, it doesn’t mean he is exclusively into men.

When will the gay community realize that homosexuality does not always trump heterosexuality in terms of the lifestyle choices these men make?

There are tons of men out there who chose to follow the heterosexual path even though they are also attracted to men. Tons.

Aaron Rodgers lives with Kevin Lanflisi, takes him solo to award ceremonies dressed in color coordinated clothes, lets it be known that their friendship goes a lot deeper than what they do, claims they hit it off right away when they first met. Maybe Aaron just hasn’t come out to the general public yet with an ” I am a gay man” declaration.

Kevin Lanflisi is seeking some type of revenge or his time in the spotlight, and doing it in such an immature way… with bitter subliminal tweets. I wonder if Aaron Rodgers tweeted back in response?

You may call them cowards and say they are a slap in the face of LGBT community, but coming out is one of the most significant things in a person’s life. This medium especially should be aware of that. I’m 25 and it took me years to realize I was gay and many more after to accept it and even more to finally tell my friends (like 6 months ago actually). Please Queerty, you guys do great work, but don’t turn into a publication that values gossip and getting to say “first” over the hard work you have done.

      @seaguy:

I never claimed that the people that I mentioned were antigay; my god, far from it. They were very supportive of equality, not just of gays and lesbians but for ethnic groups and women. But just because they supportive doesn’t necessarily mean they understand where we’re coming from. Usually, though not always, the guys made it clear they couldn’t understand why anybody wouldn’t want to have sex with a woman. I guess I can’t be too judgmental because I can’t understand their dating inclinations so I guess we’re even. My point was that young straight male liberals tend to view male homosexuality as something so alien. BTW, jimbryant, most of the young women viewed gay sexuality, especially gay men, with more a sense of incredulity rather than disgust. One young woman I was great friends with admitted she couldn’t understand why someone would be attracted to someone who was like them. But she added since she’s attracted to the same kind of guys I was she was totally cool with it!!

I believe you mean Tom Daley. Yeah he received a lot of flak. I imagine he’ll probably see more of it in the years to come. As for Rodgers, if it’s true, and that’s a BIG IF, you can bet opposing fans will make hell for him. I’m afraid that’s just part of the culture of the NFL. Look at the Jets fans. I saw a special about harassment women face in sports and there is a section in Jets stadium where male fans hoot and make cat calls to women. I don’t know if that’s still there but I can certainly understand the women and the harassment they must have had to put up with just to go to a game.

What a shocker, the person who ALWAYS takes the sides of the bigot compares a simple announcement of being gay with exposing the intimate details of their private lives. That is ALWAYS the line of the bigots. Comparing a simple act of being who a person is, to putting a camera in somebody’s bedroom.

Funny how every OTHER sports figure gets their dating life written about, yet this guy was bring his boyfriend to events and nothing was every written. If they want to stay hidden, showing up at events with your boyfriend probably isn’t the way to go about it. Wow, what a strange and disturbing comment thread.

I’m over 50 and even I think about two-thirds of you people should just go back in the closet and stop bothering the world.

(And if the anonymous jimbryant & BJ McFrisky disagree with me, that’s a pretty good sign that I’m right.)

There is not even any indication that Kevin L has done anything in particular, YET.

Certain tweets were deleted. Well they weren’t magically deleted. KL deleted them.

The “rumors” of gayness were not created by KL. The rumors were created by a gay couple going about living their ordinary gay life.

One bf promised, apparently for several months (& maybe years), to come out more prominently, then he reneged on the promise.

Any self-respecting gay guy might be pissed off about a boyfriend doing that, unless he were a self-hating closet case like most of you pitiful pathetic people here.

And, again, KL hasn’t even done anything yet.

Maybe you guys would be happier if they both got married to women and covered up the whole homo thing?

@Dakotahgeo: Quelle horreur! – I make no pretensions to being a psychologist, armchair or otherwise. The VA insists that I see one. And I see her twice a year faithfully. :)

Yesterday before I went out I SUSPECTED, perhaps incorrectly, that you were jumping to the conclusion that Kevin L is some kind of a gold-digger or a blackmailer. That seemed to be what you were insinuating.

But there is not really any evidence of that. Kevin L hasn’t even particularly *done* anything yet. And may not necessarily, ever. In fact he has voluntarily deleted several tweets. They didn’t delete themselves.

Everything is merely gossip about their ALREADY-established relationship.

I don’t see that KL is doing anything wrong here – he seems to be quite an honorable, honest, sensible guy. As opposed to his dishonest weasel (so far) of a boyfriend, who may hopefully come around.

These tweets are the demented ramblings of a delusional, wanna-be-boyfriend fan. Just watched an extended interview with Aaron Rodgers and unlike, Tim Tebow, there’s no way in Hell that Rodgers is gay. Far too masculine, far too straight, far too All-American. Flaming old queens with a thing for jocks like myself, might fervently wish that Rodgers were gay but that’s all it would ever be – wishful thinking.

Rodgers most probably, doesn’t like musicals, Barbra, Lady Gaga, Britney or Madonna. He gets a nice haircut and a nice suit once in awhile, but I’m sure he hates shopping, interior decorating, celebrity gossip, manscaping, reshaping his eyebrows, and going to the ballet.

      @redspyder: ???

I think it’s pretty clear (I realize humor confuses some people), but okay – recap –

I am not a football fan and even I have heard the rumors that one of the most famous, current NFL players, who even I have heard of, is in a gay relationship.

His supposed bf wasn’t doing anything dastardly by supposedly *promoting* this. This isn’t 1980, he has “social media” and unless he is in a sado-masochistic relationship (not that there’s anything wrong with that, necessarily), he’s occasionally going to discuss his everyday gay life with others. That is, IF he is actually gay, and not merely an extremely oddly *intimate* roommate etc.

The NFL is quite ACTIVELY asking for gay players to come out. They have made it very clear that any gay players will have the NFL’s full support.

      That’s it.

There doesn’t seem to be much to substantiate this rumor but sometimes Queerty does guess right–like when they posted that photo of Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley. Who knows. But I checked out this Kevin Lanflisi’s instagram and he doesn’t seem particularly bitter or angry with lots of posts of him happily going to concerts, poetry slams, sporting events & hanging out with family & friends. I kind of doubt he’s planning to out anyone. Also nothing particularly gay either as he mainly posts ‘bro’ style photos although also no pics of him with girlfriends either which is a little odd for an attractive single guy. Nothing to see yet though. Wasn’t this the same site that claimed Sean Avery and Andy Cohen were a couple? They may not be the most reliable.

I don’t follow professional sports but I’m curious to know what is going on with NBA Jason Collins and NFL Kerry Rhodes professional careers after coming out and gay rumors became public. Of course Jason came out publicly and an ex-lover and suggestive photos fueled rumors about Kerry being gay (Kerry has denied being gay). I read on Queerty that the soccer player that came out was signed by a LA team after coming out. We should question what’s in it for the team and the player to make this public declaration based on being “actively” asked to come out to the general public.

To all you doubters, I have a list of questions:

-How often do Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, or Joe Flacco talk about THEIR “personal male assistants”? (Assuming they have one)

-Do these men elevate their assistants to the level that Aaron did with Kevin?

-Would any of these men BLUSH at the slight MENTION of their assistants?

-Would any of these men go out to big public events with their assistants…sans a woman?

In all of these hypotheticals, let’s pretend that these men are not married.

@jimbryant: You really missed my point. I don’t have any issue with bisexual people. I was pointing out that within the NFL people come up with gay rumors all the time and most of the time there is nothing to it. If you aren’t banging every woman or have at least 4 baby mothers you must be queer. Even the roommate in question doesn’t say he is a gay man. I just think this whole thing is a waste of time. Any hint of sensitivity in the NFL is viewed as gay.

@gay4liberty: Joey Harrington moved his college roommate to Detroit when he was drafted. The roommate gave up a job to come here. Neither man is gay, Joey is married with a kid now. I have str8 male friends who I am very close with. As a group we get massages together and hug when we meet. None of them are gay, they are just comfortable with who they are. We shouldn’t be in the habit of defining how str8 men must act not to be gay.

      @Scribe38:

I’m not saying that Aaron and Kevin are de facto gay just because they’re roomies.

I’m saying there’s more evidence. Aaron mentions him in interviews. Aaron BLUSHED when that interviewer guy merely MENTIONED him. Aaron goes with him to black suit-and-tie events…sans women! Aaron treats him far better than most players would probably treat him. Kevin WORE HIS SUPERBOWL RING. Come on, now, if I was a bigshot NFL player, the only person allowed to wear that would be my child, my mom or dad, or my spouse. Not someone who is, in the public eye, merely an “assistant,” even if said “assistant” is a good friend.

And if they were never a thing…how come Kevin deleted the Tweets? If there was nothing diry in them, he has nothing to hide.

To me, there’s more incriminating evidence than there is exculpatory evidence.

Some gossipy fan has twitter-stalked them both and come to some not-unlikely but purely speculative conclusions.

True or false, it seems a bit rough to blame the assistant when the most support he’s lent to the story is a few very vague statements on his own Twitter that can be interpreted as referring to the end of a relationship.

You’re also mental if you think handholding in public is some badge of courage for being gay. I have no problem kissing my boyfriend/partner when we’re out in public. I wouldn’t hold hands, though, unless they needed a helping hand up from laying on the grass or by the pool. I personally find it both clingy and annoying. I would love for Aaron Rodgers to say “I once had a relationship with a man that didn’t work out. Now I’m dating a woman by choice”.

It would throw such a curve ball to the gay community. It would thankfully offend the gays who insist that a man must come out as gay even if he’s had just one same-sex experience.

LOL, I couldn’t think of anything more funny. It would be a slap in the face to the Nazis in the gay community who think that having just one same-sex experience is grounds for compulsory membership of the friends of Dorothy.

@avesraggiana, your attitude that so-called handsome guys could (and should) do better than whomever they are with just rubs me the wrong way. Lots of people made similar comments regarding Tom Daley’s choice of beau.

This is such a mean girl attitude, and the fact that it is mostly held by other self-professed “homely” guys means to me that it has more to do with jealousy and with self-hate than anything objective.

For the record, I don’t find this Aaron guy all that attractive, and the supposed boyfriend is quite quite. It is unclear to me if the football player could have done all that well as you claim he could if he weren’t famous.

Why can’t the gay male community simply accept that men can have deep male friends? Perhaps, for instance, a friend that he seeks physical comfort in occasionally, such as hugs and nuzzles.

Your problem as gay men is that you want to extend everything to the sexual intercourse level. Is it because you want validation for the anal act between two men? Is it because you can’t stand the idea of men being able to choose NOT to engage in sodomy?

The problem with many gay men in America and Britain is that you have this clubby, zealous attitude to gay rights. Everybody has to abide by your definitions and terms. Everybody has to be what you want them to be. There can be no deviation from the rules.

Well, I’m sick of it. I’m here to tell you that the strait-jackets you impose through your zealotry will no longer stand undisturbed. True male-male liberation will come from the mouths and arms of those who are not committed to your political gay rights causes. Yep, NOT committed.

      So there.

The other thing you’ve got to remember is that you can be anti-sodomy but not necessarily anti men-who-love-men.

Men who love men can be in love for very pure reasons, such as spiritual nourishment, physical back-up, and overall psychological balance. This sort of love is often found amongst men who identify as straight. Often, these men hold each other physically, slap each other on the behind during a sports match, and maybe even kiss each other.

Think of Tim Tebow and some basketball players.

Then you have the sodomy crowd who think that any expression of love between men MUST extend to the anal act. There can be no compromise. It is the ONLY way to go. If you do not partake of the anal act, you are considered WEIRD.

Some of these comments just show how incredibly stupid some people are. To comment on Lanflisi’s looks is ridiculous and not relevant to the discussion. Rodgers apparently agreed to come out and then backed out. Which sane person among you in a similar situation wouldn’t be upset? Living in the shadows is hard and more importantly a lie. It is analogous to crossing the desert seeing an oasis only to get there and find it was just a mirage. It would seem now that Lanflisi has a decision to make…stay in and go along with the program or exit stage left gracefully. If Rodgers truly loves him, he’ll appreciate that he has no right to ask someone else to live his lie. To suggest that Lanflisi is a loser says that the person with this sentiment is an acrid bitch.

Not sure why the media covers for these players, or what is going on in Green Bay WI the media covered for Brett Favre for his entire career but maybe screwing all kinds of women is different than being gay in the NFL with the Media?
I know MANY NFL players their take on their gay locker room teammates is…as long as they just do their job on the field and keep their life out of the public…which also translate to str8 players that have drug issues, drinking issues, bouts with the law…just keep your life out of the 24 hour news cycle.

Yeah, the remarks about appearance were the oddest comments here. As a couple I think they look pretty cool together. Opposites. I was vaguely aware that AR’s “symmetrical” looks are somehow the conventional standard of what’s considered handsome… but a mysterious dark-haired ”asymmetrical” cutie pie like KL, damn, that’s what I want. (And what I have, actually!)

I’ve noticed that in some places – NYC especially – it seems to be very common for gay male couples to look SO much alike they look like brothers. Is this NYC narcissism at work? It always seems creepy as hell to me.

It’s so individual. We should all be happy that we’re wired so individually – if nothing else, that gives us all a chance!

The mean-spirited comments about the roommate/boyfriend are partly Queerty’s fault: the title of the article misleadingly says that he is the outer when he totally isn’t.

This article is getting a lot of cross-linkage, so I think it’s worthwhile changing the title to limit the spread of misinformation.

      New title:

SOME RANDOM SHIT-STIRRER TWITTER-STALKS NON-CELEBRITY AND CHOOSES TO INTERPRET HIS VAGUE REMARKS ABOUT THE END OF AN UNSPECIFIED RELATIONSHIP AS REFERRING TO HIS MORE FAMOUS FRIEND

      A little less catchy?

@connor.oborn22945@gmail.com: Um, connor, Kevin wasn’t “broadcasting” this. It’s most likely a nosy gossip who saw one of these tweets a few years ago, got the impression that he and Aaron were gay together, and decided to follow the account. Over the years, this nosy person probably gathered all the tweets together and e-mailed the gossip site.

Do you REALLY think Kevin would out Aaron like this? I mean, he may be angry, but I’m sure he respects the fact that Aaron has to keep the Packers on top for the playoffs…

Ever consider maybe he Aaron Rodgers valued their deep friendship and this guy got mad when he started an intimate relationship with a woman? It’s not always a cover story.

On a further note I’m so sick of the gay community reaching and looking for validation in the public spotlight. Why does it matter if he is gay or not? Leave him alone and let him choose his own way of loving his life. I have many gay friends and people like you all give them a bad reputation. Rumors and potentially slander are not good ways to try to spread your message.

      Right, his fiancee.

Against my resolution not to further fuel the gossip … I have a hard time taking seriously a love connection who has appeared on “reality” TV, and who started showing up at games with a big ol rock on her finger at right around the same time that the gay rumors began percolating.

Yes, childhood friendships sometimes do blossom into romance. But childhood friends of gay men are also very often willing to act as the guy’s “plus one” when cover is needed.

Have you ever thought that it might be Aaron Rodgers’ new girlfriend who doesn’t want him to reveal a past relationship with a man? Women tend to be opposed to male homosexuality in men who are also attracted to women.

Amongst women, it is considered icky if your husband or boyfriend has previously been with men.

I stand by my comment on women and their innate homophobia towards male homosexuality. It’s a gender war, and not just a homosexuality war.

No woman wants her female friends to know that her husband might have had a boyfriend in a previous relationship. This intolerance of women is one reason why a lot of men classify themselves as straight-identifying after they marry a woman.

Take-home message: women are the intolerant gender. I include lesbians here.

It would be a welcome development if Rodgers came out, but it’s his decision to make. I’m not in favor of outing public figures who haven’t chosen to do that for themselves unless they are using their power or celebrity status to work AGAINST LGBT rights. In that case, their hypocrisy should be exposed. Otherwise, coming out is a private decision for everyone. I can’t imagine there are many of us reading this who would have been happy to have been outed before we were ready to do it.

Being older than God, practically, I knew a couple of closeted NFL players back in the 70s. It was well-known in the gay community who they were because they frequented gay bars. Their secret stayed within the community, though, and they weren’t working against the rest of the community. They had pretty miserable and conflicted private lives, though. The fear and paranoia they inflicted on themselves by staying in the closet yet being scared of exposure was a miserable way to live. For his own sake, I hope Rodgers and other gay pro athletes come out. The world has changed enormously since the 70s and there’s little risk now if they decide to be open about themselves. They may lose a few fans, but their league, their teammates, their advertising sponsors and their real friends and family members will support them and accept them. So they might as well blow open those closet doors and start living complete, happier lives!

How do you know that Aaron Rodgers isn’t happier with a woman? Just because he might have had a relationship with a male, it doesn’t mean that male love trumps female love.

I am so sick of presumptive and dictatorial members of the gay community trying to tell others what’s what in life.

Well, I don’t care if he is gay or not. I like him as a football player. But think about it: Football has MANY examples of gay innuendo. Tight End, Wide Reciever. Then the teams: Packers, Rams, Oilers, Bears, etc. Sounds like a wild orgy in the club. I think Kentucky should have an NFL team called the Jellies. Then every scoreboard would say KY Jellies! Announcers would make calls like “The Jellies squeeze another one out! He could go all the way!”

      @trilingual1946:

I agree the world has changed for the better but don’t you think that the biggest obstacle is how other team’s fans will react? They’re hostile now to opposing players; I can only imagine the vitriol and vile shouts that would follow whenever that particular player would trot out on the field. In addition, it’s something the media won’t be able to ignore. I don’t know if you remember the hostility that followed Christian Laettner during his years at Duke. Opposing fans would taunt him (and to an extent teammate Bobby Hurley) during games. Even some media outlets noticed it. Anyway, as much as it would be nice to have an openly, active player come out who is also a superstar, I can imagine why he would want to stay in the closet and keep his business to himself.

What is wrong with publications like Queerty needing to “OUT” gay people, you never hear the need of heterosexuals feeling they have to “OUT” each other. It’s about time the GAY community grew up, and let those gays who wish to keep their sexuality private…stay private, it’s really no one else’s business.

You guys are nuts. Aaron Rodgers is a Super Bowl champion stud with millions of endorsements and a contract as QB for a pro football team. His boyfriend seems like a twerp from his tweets and wanted Aaron to come out of the closet and make his relationship public for his sake. Who cares if Aaron is homosexual or bisexual, he is a decent and hard working honest guy who cares about the fans and what he does. He deserves better and who wouldn’t want to spend time with him. He is a guitar player and a good guy, so cut him a break. I would jump his bones in a second and keep him so happy even if he wants to date women too. How can I let him know I am available? Nothing pisses me off more than gay guys who feel that they need to out other gay guys. They feel that all gay guys, whether in the workplace, social settings, wherever, need to be out and proud as they are. I am a proud gay man, who elects to remain closeted at work. One would not know about me unless I told them. However time and time again, other gay men in the office, who know I am gay because they have seen me out and about, insist on attempting to out me to management and others. I have tried to explain to these individuals over and over again that coming out is a personal decision and process. However, there are some gay men, you just cannot talk to. This Laymans advice to an individual with a celebrity such as Aaron Rodgers, would be to do things on your own time. This is what I have told other friends in the past. Do not let anyone push you to do something you do not want to do, and that you feel you may regret later. We all come out at our own time, And at our own speed. Some of us do it at 16, some of us do it at 60. Some of us elect to remain closeted due to family relationships, business relationships, or plain out and out finances. Rogers could stand to lose millions in endorsements if he were to come out like his now I guess ex partner was trying to get him to do. If he really cared about Rogers as much as he professes, then he should let Rogers do what he feels he needs to do on his own time schedule. so what if it is true that he got cold feet, and changed his mind about possibly coming out this last summer. That is his decision to make, not anyone elses. How evil is it to make someone do something that could possibly hurt them, simply because it is what you want for your life. If you don’t want to date a closeted man, closet celebrity, closeted football star,… Then stop being a girl and move your ass on down the line. Many other out and proud gay men would be glad to give you the time of day. You would think that as gay men living in what is still a homophobic society, that we would stand together, in solidarity, and support each other. However, some Queens…! Yeah I said it! Get over yourself Kevin, and if you really care for Rogers the way you say, support him, and don’t try to hurt him by outing him and costing him his celebrity, his fame, his pocketbook, and possibly his job. If I were in his shoes, I would consider u a hard lesson learned about some in our community…but would most of all, I would consider you history!

If you are a straight person, you have a lot to learn about the gay community, and gay individuals. If you are a gay person, OMG, please tell me you’re not a gay person! Whether you are referring to an individual such as yourself, or to an individual who is a superstar in the National Football League, we are all entitled to our privacy. No one is entitled or obligated to out any of us. Grow up! Lord, I need a drink!
