When you're a live TV show, it can sometimes be hard to keep potential indecencies off the air. Like when Jane Fonda goes on the Today show and says "cunt."
But if you're a taped TV show, you go through rounds and rounds of editing before a final product is considered ready for the small screen. It might be assumed, then, that after editors and producers watched a clip for the umpteenth time, they would've caught anything that would set off the censors. But not on Survivor: Gabon, the CBS reality series' 17th season, which is the setting for the hottest inter-orientation romance between a gay guy (Charlie Herschel) and a straight guy (Marcus Lehman).
And it's Marcus (left) who managed to slip past the censors when, like Janet Jackson, he experienced a wardrobe malfunction when his penis slipped out of his boxer shorts during a run on the show's first episode. And then it went on TV.
Of course that's upset the screaming queens at the Parents Television Council, who have filed an indecency complaint, claiming the manhood exhibition was not just "shocking" but also "purposeful." Idiots.

Marcus has a bright future ahead of him. His lean masculine body will get a lot of exposure on Survivor, and he seems nice too.

Was there more than the clip on Jossip? With all that motion of other runners etc., I hardly noticed it and I was looking for it! I wonder how many people really noticed on actual broadcast. It is not like the photo of the two guys walking on this post and his trunks fell to his ankles and then the camera did a close up! Goodness. These nellies need something else to do. Like worry about children who don't have health insurance or good schools.

having worked in TV for over 15 years and all the hands that screen cuts of episodes from producers, network execs, broadcast standards I find it hard to believe that this wasn't caught. there are FCC rules for a reason. janet jackson was an accident on live TV. this incident shouldn't have happened. i wouldn't be surprised that they let it slip to get attention and make SURVIVOR buzzworthy again.
Am i the only one who finds the gay guy, Charlie annoying? his fawning over the straight guy is jsut bizarre.
