Syria Releases 25 Gays Who Dared Attend Parties With Other Homosexuals

Twenty-five men (not pictured) detained by Syrian law officials, rounded up at separate gay parties and held without bail, were released after three months of incarceration — almost certainly due to international media attention and pressure. Their release comes with this ultimatum: “We won’t tolerate any future gay parties!”
