In honor of Independence Day, we're liberating ourselves a bit early today.

Before we go, however, some words on amazing America, from late Illinois Governor Adlai Stevenson, a man long dogged by homo murmurs:

America is much more than a geographical fact. It is a political and moral fact - the first community in which men set out in principle to institutionalize freedom, responsible government, and human equality.

Let that be a lesson to all those flag-wavers who still discriminate against the gays.
