Thank gawd for the internet! Not only does this wonder world wide web keep food on our table, but it also allows controversial videos to live on until the end of time. Case in point: this "Dial M For Monkey" clip.

The toon, a "backup" segment on Dexter's Laboratory, came under fire after airing an episode featuring an exceptionally feminine character by the name of "Silver Spooner." How feminine? Well, he doesn't zoom around space, but, rather, swishes, a fact made evident by big glittery letters when he flies away from the scene of a condiment crime.

Confused? Just watch the clip and it will all make sense, including why the Cartoon Network yanked the clip from the episode's repeats.

Queer cartoon breaks gay ground:

Buddy G - My Two Moms and Me, featuring sate of the art 3-D animation, will premiere with the release of a DVD just in time for a holiday delivery this year.

So will social conservative backlash, we're sure.

When was the last time you watched a circa 1945 Donald Duck cartoon? What's more - when was the last time you saw such a spot on representation of Mexican people? They're such are quite a welcoming, singing, dancing people! And they can make giant piƱatas come out of their butts.

"If I Were A Transformer, I'd Be..."

If you're like us, you're desperately trying to maintain some semblance of sanity this post-Fourth Thursday.

And, if you're like us, you'll use The Ultimate Transformers Quiz to pass (read: waste) some of your once precious, productive time.

Participants are given a series of questions and the magical computer assigns you a Transformer alter ego. Based on our answers - which included a desire to destroy the world - we're most like Rumble, who happens to be purple, which happens to be the international color of faggotry.

Spooky…

A reader sent us this cartoon from Canada's Mississauga News. He found it so offensive that he felt compelled to write the editor a letter. We don't really think it's insensitive or disrespectful. It's true, queer families can get a bit complicated. Shit, non-queer families can get complicated…

Regardless, he went through the trouble of sending it, so we're posting it for you. Any opinions?

You gotta hand it to those kooks over at The New York Post: they've certainly got the gays pegged. First their delightful cartoon of Jim McGreevey comforting Mark Foley, now this oh-so-original correlation between gay marriage and bestiality.

Pure genius, that.

(Except, according to a recent HRC survey, gays prefer llamas to sheep, but whatever…)

Faithful readers know that of all our obsessions, two stand out more than some: our historical hard-on and cartoon curiosity. Our friend Andy Georgiou, who pens the clever homo comic strips, Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop, suggested we post a feature on historic, ambiguously gay cartoon sidekicks. Boo Boo, Yogi Bear's suspiciously loyal mate, stands out as the most famous, but according to Georgiou, there's an entire slew of similiarly homo-esque partners.

Since Georgiou proved his Queerty love, we're proving our reciprocal emotions by posting his entire explanation after the jump. See, we're not entirely heartless! (Oh, and we take no responsibility for any characters who are outed inaccurately)

We received a little note from our favorite gay cartoonist Andrew Georgiou telling us about his totally gay new accessories for sale. You remember Andrew, the creator of Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop, the insane comic you should be reading. Well it turns out that Andrew has teamed up with Shufflesome to produce a line of iPod Shuffle stickers that will definitely turn heads.

The colorful stickers feature a range of characters: Gus the leather fetish gorilla, Madame Chicolitta the dominatrix chicken, Irving the cross dressing gerbil, and Juan Jose the gay butch bull. For under $10 we find this queer iPod art a steal. Just call us Pet Shop Boys

Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop

Andrew Georgiou is the the mastermind behind the world's #1 gay comic strip: Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop. The Australian artist recently caught up with Bradford Shellhammer and answered some of Queerty's totally gay questions.

Who is Mr. Gisby and where did he come from?
Randall Seymour Gisby was born in Spain and vilified by a homophobic pit bull terrier at an early age. To cut a long story short, Mr. Gisby vowed to create a safe haven for all creatures great and small…and gay. So with the money he collected from the lawsuit against the pit bull, Mr. Gisby opened his gay animal haven, Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop.

Tell us about the strip.
The strip started three years ago as a series of bent scribbles and ideas I had for some twisted gay animals. The strip bases itself on one-liners using a variety of gay animals and gags, however there are also seven main characters who are reoccurring and the star players at the pet shop. These include a leather fetish gorilla, dominatrix chicken, bisexual echidna, a tranny-saurus, and a couple of other twisted creatures. Right now Mr. Gisby's Totally Gay Pet Shop appears in over 100 cities worldwide, so there are a lot of gay animal lovers out there, keeping the strip alive and growing. It's officially the biggest gay comic in print and very big in Europe in particular.

Can I be in the comic? I make a very gay and very cute cartoon.
Yes you can , so long as you sign a confidentiality clause and agree to play a bisexual / hermaphrodite anaconda with issues.

Where can we catch the strip in the US?
Currently in Qvegas magazine, Word magazine, TWN, Gaytimes, Windy City Times, and of course online at mrgisby.com.

After the jump Andrew talks about bedding models, his dream cast, and his favorite Pet Shop Boys album.
