» More Marc Jacobs Scandal!

For those of you who can't get enough Marc Jacobs drama… An Armory employee allegedly shook down the designer for exclusive Fashion Week access to The Armory. Asking price: $40K in cash, gifts and models. Okay, there were no models traded, but that would have been a great commentary on the exploitative nature of the fashion industry.

Blogger Perez Hilton popped into the MAC make-up booth at Bryant Park and backstage at Baby Phat this weekend. And, like any good tourist, Hilton saddled up to some of the fashion world's biggest homos, like Danilo, Gregory Arit, Robert Verdi, Philip Bloch and some drag queen named Kimora.

New York never looked less desirable.

Marc Jacobs' on again, off again relationship with Jason Preston may be off again. Page Six reports that the designer has replaced the former rent boy with porn star Erik Rhodes. Jacobs sure does know how to pick 'em!

Jacobs has been quietly seeing adult film actor Erik Rhodes and whisking him away to secret locations…

The new fling is likely the reason things have cooled again between Jacobs and former male escort Jason Preston, whom he's dated on and off since 2005. Sources said Jacobs' affair with Rhodes — who describes himself as "Addictive. Wild. Open" on his ManNet.com profile — began last year when the designer invited Rhodes to join him and Preston for a three-way. Jacobs allegedly continued the fling with Rhodes one on one after that. "Jason thought he and Marc were exclusive again," said our insider. "But Marc is sleeping with this porn star behind his back, and sneaking him to Paris for hot sex."

If only our gay drama were as glamorous!

Hark! Do you hear what we hear? Clip-clop, sniff, clip-clop, barf… That's the sound of the armies of models, posers and fashionistas who are currently stampeding toward New York's fashion week. And designer Thom Browne's super excited!

Refinery29 recently caught up with the dreamboat to talk shop. Browne doesn't give away too many details about his show - prude! - but does discuss his fashion show philosophy: performativity. This year's offerings will be shown amidst a circus theme with "multi-talented models".

We can only imagine…

Needed Shower, Shave Before Big Show

Marc Jacobs ain't having rumors he had drinks before his show this week.

The famously sober designer's show started two-hours late, leading some to wonder if he's fallen off the wagon. Gossip mongers placed him at New York's tony Mercer Hotel, where they say he hit it hard. Jacobs, however, insists he's as clean as a whistle and gives a big 'fuck you' to anyone who says otherwise:

That is bullshit! That is bullshit! was at the fucking office until the last fitting was over. I came back to the hotel — I hadn't been here in three days! I hadn't showered in three days! I slept on the couch in my office for 20 minutes three nights in a row — anyone at my office will tell you that. I got 20 minutes sleep Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night. The first shower I had was Monday at 8 before the rehearsal of our show. I did not have lunch, I did not have drinks, I did not have tea at the Mercer, I walked through the lobby; I live in this hotel… I took 20 minutes to shower and shave — I stank like a raccoon! I could not go to the show like that.

44-year old Jacobs is reportedly so incensed he's threatening to move his show to Paris. No, Marc, don't go!

New York Fashion Week's coming to an end today. Before the madness concludes, some old faces presented their new lines. Take a look at Tommy Hilfiger and John Varvatos' collections, after the jump.

We've also included some shots from lesser known Tim Hamilton.

2xist shook their new panty lines down the runway yesterday. It's the brand's first NYC Fashion Week show and, despite the wretchedly unorganized door situation and hour delay, attendees got their wish: tits and ass!

Get yours, after the jump…

We're dedicating this edition of "Cruising New York Fashion Week" to Marc Jacobs' economy line: Marc By Marc Jacobs.

Though we'd love some of the pieces, the collection as a whole seems to be inspired by Batman's nemesis, Two-Face. And, as such, we're torn. A little help?

Anyone who tells you fashion week's all about the clothes should be called a "liar". Yeah, planning a future ward drobe can be fun for a few minutes, but most of us won't remember which pieces we'll buy next spring.

We don't know about you, but we look forward less to the fashion week fashions and more to the fashion week models. Why do you think we do all those photo round-ups? The men of Fashion Week linger in our memories like angels - and sometimes devils.

For those of you looking for a closer look at John Varvatos Bartlett models in their natural habitat, check out some shots over at Made in Brazil. For those of you looking for models strutting their shit, take a peek at our fashion week coverage thus far.

More to follow.

For those of you who simply can't get enough fashion, our girl Piera Gelardi of Refinery29 fame offers a more in-depth look at some of the this weekend's independent shows.

Damien Hirst can do anything. The British artist, who recently sold a diamond-encrusted skull for about $100 million, unveiled his new collaboration with Levi's Jeans: Warhol Factory X. We're not sure how Andy Warhol would feel about the collection, but we're loving it.

Check out some mens' wear shots, after the jump.

It's been a flurry of activity here in New York. Bryant Park's packed with tents, models have taken the town by storm and designers are praying to the sartorial gods for a good review. It can be a lot to digest, to be sure.

Luckily, our friend Piera Gelardi from Refinery29 has been keeping track of the last three days of happenings.

Dive into that there jump to see what she had to say about some of her favorite fashion week moments, including Band of Outsiders' sea-faring show.
