"Pierce Brosnan has landed the title of top gay icon – in the over-50 category. The former Bond star beat off competition from Bruce Willis and Richard Gere to land the crown with 33% of the vote. Willis came second in the poll, conducted by dating website Gay-parship, with 24% and Gere was third with 14%. Reluctant Bride Gushes Over Nuptials

The Queen star Helen Mirren gave the queens some love in a recent US interview. The actress told the tab-rag that she's "absolutely" behind gay marriage.

"I think gays absolutely should have the right. For the same reason Taylor [director Hackford] and I got married — to be able to say, by law, 'This person is important to me.'"

Mirren also chats about how she once refused to marry, but Hackford won her over. "…Now I love being married. I love saying, ‘I’m going to see my husband tonight.’”
