The gays can do anything! Project Runway alum Jack Mackenroth joined forces with San Francisco's Project Inform, which fights HIV/AIDS, to create some - ahem - "Condom Couture."

Later this month - on October 15, to be precise - Mackenroth will unveil a custom wedding dress made entirely of condoms. Some may assume the project would be a breeze for a boy such as Mackenroth, but this project had some particularly sticky challenges.

One of the most pressing challenges sprang from the fact that condoms were heavy and had to be removed from the packages, an undertaking complicated by the fact that Mackenroth's allergic to latex.

The gayest of the gay turned out last night for the NewNowNext awards.

Host Candis Cayne and Cindi Lauper made quite a duo, while Noah's Arc's Jensen Atwood cut an attractive rug, as usual. Christian Siriano and Jack Mackenroth of Project Runway were both in attendance, as was singer Leona Lewis, who won the Next International Crossover award. The show airs on June 7th on Logo, which means that you (yes, you) can still vote online. Which you should, because democracy rules!

Sad news, gays.

Project Runway season four contestant Jack Mackenroth, who had to leave the show after a staph infection, will not be auditioning for the show’s fifth season.

Wrote the designer: “During my short stint on season 4, I was never in the bottom three and I won the menswear challenge, which is my field of expertise, so I feel like I accomplished most of what I started.”

Jack Mackenroth needs no introduction, we're sure.

We all know the designer from Project Runway. We all know he left the Bravo reality show after developing a antibiotic resistant staph infection, but bounced back like a champ. And, of course, we all know he looks good naked.

We bet there's plenty you don't know about handsome Mackenroth. For example, do you know how many siblings he has? Do you know what went down when he found out he's HIV positive? Why doesn't he talk to his father? What's his next step? These questions and many more will be answered in this installment of The Home Issue!

Jack Mackenroth's Project Runway martyrdom doesn't sit well with one fan, who's started an online petition calling for the designer's return:

Jack Mackenroth was hospitalized for 5 days with the superbug known as MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) and needed intravenous antibiotics around the clock.

Jack has since made a full recovery but left Project Runway due to illness instead of elimination. This petition is an effort to show support and convince the producers of the show to allow Jack to return for the competition next season.

Will Runway producers heed the public's call? There has to be a public call, first, so head on over and show your support.

For the rest of you, you're well aware that Jack Mackenroth got the Project Runway boot last night. It's tragic, yes, but the New York-based designer will not let a little staph infection slow him down. He's sent around this uplifting Flashdance spoof. He's a maniac on the subway floor!

There's some "incestual" gay love in the air. Bravo's OutZone nailed the "exclusive" that Top Chef's Dale Levitski and Project Runway's Jack Mackenroth have come together. No word on whether they've cum together. Here's what the boys have to say about their publicity-ready romance:

Jack: "It's very baby steps. I really like him a lot. And geography is a bit of an issue, but we'll see where it goes. I like him a lot. I assume he likes me a lot. Unless he's lying…(laughter)… He's adorable. I like keeping it incestual, keep it in the Bravo family."

Dale: "Yeah, we randomly met over Myspace. And then we bumped into each other at the Out 100 party and clicked. He's hilarious. We're just gonna roll with it and see what happens. And he's cute as %&#@. We have the same sense of humor. We giggle a lot, and you know, anytime you end up going through the Bravo-reality-show…we just looked at each other and said, 'yeah…'"

Alright, Dale, you sort of lost us toward the end, but we're picking up what you're laying down, except for the "%&#@". We don't speak censored, unfortunately.

Okay, so now that you've seen even more of Project Runway adonis and some-time nude model Jack Mackenroth – as in last night's episode, where he won the menswear challenge – it's time to see his prize: This morning on the Today show, Jack debuted his winning outfit for Tiki Barber.

By now you've already seen plenty – and we do mean plenty – of Jack Mackenroth, the HIV-positive Project Runway hottie, Gay Games competitor, and Sex and the City movie cameo-er.

Last night's episode, however, was his, so we gotta mention it. Not only did he (SPOILER ALERT!) win the challenge, but in the opening of the episode he also acknowledged his HIV status; viewers could see his bottles of pills inside a ziplock bag. But that's beside the point — because what else did viewers see? From our vantage point, it looked like he and fellow contestant, the pint-sized Christian Siriano, were quite the flirtatious item. Just sayin'.
