Eugene McGuinness' concise single, "Monsters Under The Bed" can be described with three words: anxious, angsty and addictive.

If you like what you hear, you're in luck - the 21-year old British popster's first album, The Early Learnings of Eugene McGuinness, comes out August 6th: the same day as yesterday's Morning Aural artist Kate Nash's, Made of Bricks. Better save your pennies.

For more of McGuinness' unique sound, check out his MySpace page. He'll love you forever.

Kate Nash rivals Lily Allen as our favorite British songbird. Though not as foulmouthed as Ms. Allen, 20-year old Nash busts balls just the same, as exhibited in "Foundations" above. No surprise, then, that Allen called Nash "the next big thing". And she may be right - "Foundations" settled in the number two spot on Britain's top pop list.

Meanwhile, Nash's record label announced it will push up her full-length debut: keep your eyes and ears peeled for Made Of Bricks, which drops in UK on August 6.
