Actress and needy fag hag Katherine Heigl doesn't have the best gaydar. She admitted yesterday that she once tried to get on queer costar TR Knight's lance and simply could not figure out why her woos weren't working.

From the Heigl's mouth:

When we were filming the pilot I was single and so was he and I kind of had my eye on him. I was getting nowhere and I was super-confused.

I was like, 'Hello? Do I have something hanging out of my nose? Why aren't you paying any attention to me?

Needless to say, it quickly became a friendship once he told me.

Knight's homosexuality is now moot, of course, because Heigl's now got husband Josh Kelley's soul to harvest.

And they all lived happily ever after…

Us Weekly's Janice Min better watch out, 'cause it looks like Candace Trunzo's Star wants to get in on the gay turf.

The latter's latest edition features a relatively lengthy article on TR Knight's boyfriend, Mark Cornelsen, although Star doesn't take the time to bold his name in the issue.

Trunzo dispatched a journalistic duo to dig into the 19-year old Cornelsen's life. The duo - and their web scanning skills - fulfilled their mission. They inform us Cornelsen first met Knight through the Matthew Shepard Foundation, which honored him with their Matthew Shepard Point Scholar. The Foundation features a small bio of Cornelsen, who hails from an ultra-Christian, sin-centric household. His parents apparently tossed him when he came out, but now he's all famous and shit, so the joke's on them!

Star also spends some time examining Cornelsen's family-oriented attitude - the teen's MySpace page says he wants to be a "mommy" when he grows up. He better be prepared to fight off that possessive she-beast, Katherine Heigl.

Many of us know the woes of a pushy fag hag - and TR Knight's no exception. Watch as co-star Katherine Heigl drags Knight away from his legions of fans. We bet she would have been more understanding had those folks wanted her autograph.

Religion's Role, Respect Find New Ground

Above you see video of Sally Field's acceptance speech at last night's Emmy Awards. You're not hearing Field's actual words: "If the mothers ruled the world, there would be no goddamn wars in the first place.”

Did we not just hear the first shot in the Culture War's next front??

Apologized To Heigl After Anti-Gay Remarks

heigl-washington.jpg
Isaiah Washington's one forgiving "former" homophobe. The Grey's Anatomy star recently set things straight with his GLAAD-sponsored pro-gay PSA's, but apparently the commercials weren't his only peace offerings for last year's faggot flinging. NY Post reports that Washington thanked critical co-star Katherine Heigl after she blasted him for inadvertently outing TR Knight. The blond beauty, whose mama of a comedy, Knocked Up opens this weekend, told reporters that Washington needs to "stop talking". Now, she tells Entertainment Weekly:

Isaiah thanked me, which I didn't understand. He was almost grateful. I don't know Isaiah well, but he takes his work seriously and he loves his character.

He made a big mistake, and it was thoughtless and boneheaded, and I think he's very sorry and embarrassed. This is something that will have changed the scope of his life.

We can't help but wonder what TR Knight has to say about this. And, more importantly, what Washington said to Knight after the infamous incident…
