Celeb-war mongering Rosie O'Donnell's got a new target: Larry King.

O'Donnell took to her blog this weekend to criticize the legendary "journo" for making fun of Fran Drescher's Spanish-language Clinton endorsement.

O'Donnell posted a poll on her Web site over the weekend asking readers to vote on whether King should "retire soon."

The poll appears under a picture of King and a headline that reads: "It's getting tough 2 watch."

The site said about 8,400 votes were recorded and 88 percent said yes to the retirement question.

Alright, we know Larry King ain't a hard-hitting journalist, but who else would tell Snoop Dogg that he always "gives [it] to the Jew". No one!

Lesbian money guru Suze Orman told Larry King last night that she's more concerned with a equality-minded president than simple economics. And the politics are coughing up the goods:

ORMAN: …No bones about it, I want a Democrat to win.

KING: Now, why? Historically, I thought Republicans helped the economy.

ORMAN: Yes. But, you know, I'm more than just somebody for the economy. I'm somebody for the people. And I have a true belief that, you know, that Senator Clinton or Barack Obama - Senator Obama - would be more helpful.

Especially for somebody like me. I mean it is�it is no secret that, you know, I'm in a same sex relationship and have been for a long time. And I would like to see a president give the rights for somebody like me to be able to leave my partner all the money I've accumulated without estate tax.

Estate tax is especially important to Orman, she says, because she and her girlfriend have a combined gajillion-billion dollars and they don't want the government getting none of it!

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee popped into Larry King Live last night. And, as happens, the queers came up in conversation.

With regard to Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Huckabee said that he'll let the military work that out. Meanwhile, the former Arkansas Governor again defended military officials and again defended his HIV/AIDS quarantine comments:

That was 1992 — 15 years ago. And I know some would say but we knew it then. But, you know, I talked to medical doctors back then and even who have said this to me now, we said we knew, but we weren't absolutely, positively sure. And the information we were getting was from our government. And, frankly, a lot of people who weren't trusting our government than anymore than are trusting it now.

Newly Emmy-Awarded entertainer Kathy Griffin appeared on Larry King Live last night to discuss the censorship controversy. Not surprisingly, she planned on creating a sensation. The unabashed awards show watcher also explains to King about inviting over her gay boys. King pretends not to know what she's talking about:

Griffin: I love these award show. I watch them. I have the gay boys over. We make popcorn, you know? Ring a bell, Lar?

King: (LAUGHTER) No.

During his post-scandal statement yesterday, Senator Larry Craig gave the media a perfect soundbyte, "I am not gay. I never have been gay." No doubt news heads have heard those nine words countless of times since yesterday afternoon. No doubt you will hear them again.

"I am not gay. I never have been gay." Those nine words will be etched as hard and as deep as former New Jersey governor Jim McGreevey's famous five: "I am a gay American."

Craig's nine words will define the end of his culture warrior career. For once he may not by lying. And, by some twist of political fate, Craig may be helping so-called "sexual deviants".

The wild world of celebrity sure can seem exotic. We see endless pictures of our favorite stars jetting to-and-fro, gobbling up free gifts and partaking in glamorous activities, such as black face. While it's great to fantasize about joining their astronomical ranks, it's even more fun to fantasize about them joining our pedestrian gutter.
