Toilet Queen To File Fresh Plea Today

Larry Craig's not giving up without a fight. After being busted soliciting sex in a men's room and pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, resigning and then "not resigning", the Idahoan Senator will file paperwork today to overturn the aforementioned plea.

Though lawyer Billy Martin won't discuss his legal angle, the high-powered lawyer, who has also represented Michael Vick and Monica Lewinsky, says he'll frame the case as a rights issue, "My job is to get him back to where he was before his rights were taken away." Right

Martin's argument will also focus on the media's role in Craig's downfall. He'll hold that Craig pleaded guilty after facing "witch hunt" started cut throat journalists.

Craig's got only twenty days to successfully argue his case. After that, his career's as dead as Britney Spears'.

Will High-Profile Barrister Get Cases Tossed?

Larry Craig's got some high-powered lawyers backing his campaign to clear his crude name. The disgraced Idahoan Senator signed Billy Martin to represent him in Minnesota.

Those of you followed the Michael Vick case should recognize Martin's moniker: he helped Vick cop a plea.

That plea, unfortunately, came with a 1-5 year sentence.

If only Johnnie Cochran were still alive…

Gays often gripe about how straight people stereotype them. It would appear, however, straights aren't the only ones who like a little prejudgment. Consider this letter to Southern Voice:

In regards [sic] to the Michael Vick dogfighting case… You won't find one gay man amongst that group of men that gather to watch dogs rip their throats out. It is something that straight men do, and I think it is very sad that newspapers and news stations are missing that important part of the story. Gay people don't do these things.

They have been coming after us for years over this and over that, and it is about time we focus that right back at them. It is their bad behavior that should be highlighted. Your paper should have the courage to focus right in on it.

Yow! And homeboy needs to have the courage to break out of his gay bubble and meet some straight folk.
