Our brave editor Andrew Belonsky has now returned from his Michelangelo Signorile-sponsored debate with Michael Lucas. So, what's he have to say?

I wish Michael weren't so full of it so I could have spoken more. Oh well. He refused to shake my hand at the end, which I thought was really very classy. He also told me he doesn't like my use of a horse's ass when discussing his insane, irrational and hateful opinions. Poor thing's so self-absorbed, he doesn't realize I do that for loads of people! But, as we all know, Michael's very particular about his pictures, so I'm proposing a new one: scum. Or smegma.

Belonsky ain't the only one with some words on the interview. A lovely reader sent us a list of the things he's learned from Michael Lucas.

Read it and weep, after the jump…

Talks Gay Around Guppie

Michelangelo Signorile hosted homophobic mayor Jim Naugle on his show earlier this week. In his follow-up post over at The Gist, Signorile expresses regret for not taking a harder line against the Fort Lauderdale mayor.

In addition, the 46-year old homo-journo does point out something interesting: "family defender" Naugle did the sex-laced interview near a child.

Naugle did the interview from his car, on the cell phone, with his daughter or granddaughter in the car, who can be heard in the background. Yes, there was a child (had to be between 5 and 9 years old from the sound) in the car, while he's talking about sex in toilets while driving — this from a man whose whole campaign has been couched as protecting kids from sexual activity!

Though there's anything wrong with talking sex around kids - they're going to find out at some point! - Naugle's actions are a little…what's the word? Hypocritical!

For those of you looking for a great gay debate, tune into Michelangelo Signorile's Sirius radio show today at 3:30pm. The homo-journo will be digging into anti-gay Fort Lauderdale mayor Jim Naugle.

Let's hope for a bloodbath!

• MTV apparently wouldn't play Faithless' "Bombs" because it's too controversial.

Gianni Versace's lover, Antonio D'Amico, remembers his fallen lover and the assassination that stole a fashion visionary:

It was not a day, just a moment, like lightening. I heard the shot, and I ran outside the house. I saw Gianni in a pool of blood. It was like somebody cut me in two parts with an ax. Complete darkness — and this pain in my stomach! Can you imagine? The day before we were in the swimming pool hugging, and he said to me: “You know, Tato, after all these years our relationship is still so solid and beautiful.”

• TMZ's way meaner to Rosie O'Donnell than we'd ever imagine. Okay, okay, we'd imagine being so mean, but we'd never make fun of her wet suit. Oh, that's a t-shirt. (Oops.)

Alvaro Orozco, the gay Nicaraguan refugee Canada wants out, has gone into hiding.

Tegan and Sara sing about gay marriage and its discontents.

Bill Richardson had loads of explaining to do after his gay forum slip up. For those of you not paying attention - shame, shame, shame! - Richardson "misunderstood" Melissa Etheridge's "science" question. This "confusion" led Richardson to intimate that homosexuality's a "choice".

Richardson quickly clarified his position, but that didn't stop us from giving him a bit of a grilling. Michelangelo Signorile also took some time to probe the Democratic presidential hopeful's queer choice of words. Give Signorile's radio show a listen here and here. And, for those of you wanting more blood shed, read Richardson's chat with our friend Kerry Eleveld over at The Advocate.
