Microsoft executive Mike Wallent made headlines last year when he announced his impending sex change operation. Well, now it's happened and Mike's now Megan Wallent!

So, what's Megan have to say about her transition? This:

Well, I'm me. And I think most people would perceive me as female these days. And that's the way I present myself to the outside world.

I've never been attracted to men, never even one iota. All through my transition one of the questions that [my wife] Anh and I talked about was, 'Boy, are you going to all of a sudden become attracted to men? Uh, is that going to be an issue?' And I said, 'no, I can't imagine that.'

Sorry, trans chasers, this girl and her wife are still going strong, which will only further infuriate Microsoft nemesis Ken Hutcherson.

Thanks in advance for all the story material, Wallent!

» Ric Weiland's Big Gay Donation

Ric Weiland's legacy lives on after death. The former Miscrosoft programmer - who committed suicide in 2006 - left $65 million to be dispersed between a number of gay rights organizations. The largest share goes to Pride Foundation, which funds scholarships, grants and the such. They get $ 19 million. One recipient told PageOneQ, " Ric's gift is a testament to his generosity of spirit and an example of the generosity he showed during his lifetime." [AP and PageOneQ]

Nightmare Ken Hutcherson's making good on his Microsoft threats. The footballer turned preacher man announced the first stage in his unholy crusade against the tech company's gay-friendly policies. And, yes, he found his famous white friends:

A conservative Christian pastor plans to launch a high-profile campaign Tuesday urging religious followers to load up on Microsoft Corp. stock, in an attempt to force the company to "stop financing ungodly ventures."

Hutcherson, joined by some of the country's most influential Christian leaders, has created a new organization, AGN Financial Network, to finance the effort. The worldwide venture asks people to buy three shares of company stock and donate one to AGN. Its Web site tells visitors, "You have the power to change the world…"

It's unclear what effect, if any, the initiative could have on the stock price. It would be difficult to influence company direction — just to gain a 1 percent stake in Microsoft, about 31 million people would each have to spend $104 to buy three shares.

We're really not that worried.

Also- Pervy, Creepy and Entirely Inappropriate For Children

Santa better stuff his stocking with coal this year. Via Slog:

An artificial-intelligence Santa bot operated by Microsoft to talk to children wavered off topic saying: “It’s fun to talk about oral sex, but I want to chat about something else….”

Users were able to steer Santa into admitting he was gay or that he was a pedophile.

One person said “…..come on you like big hairy men — don't hide it!” To which Santa responded, “I know, I know. I just hope you won't get mad at me.”

Eeks! What do you think Santa's hiding that would inspire fury? Does his dick have a red tip? We imagine so - he has, after all, been around the world a few times.

One Man's Insane Mission: The Video

Crazed preacher man Ken Hutcherson told Microsoft shareholders he's going to be their "nightmare" if they don't stop supporting gay rights. He also rambles on about meeting with Microsoft's diversity team and something about CEO Steve Barnell. It doesn't make sense. Here's what we hear in this Good As You provided video:
Do you know that the The reason this firestorm is coming is because I came to Brad Smith and Stephen [Inaudible], who works in diversity, we have worked out a plan to work together to improve our community…and Steve Barnell, the CEO, stood and called me a liar, thus we are putting together one of the largest, one of the most powerful groups to come to deal with Microsoft on issues that we believe is hurting our society. And the reason why we are excited about this is because we know that we have the power behind us.

Yes, that "power" you spoke of before - that "whole host of powerful white people". Note that the rich white Microsoft Chief Financial Officer Chris Liddell didn't look that impressed.

Megan Wallent Will Be Free

michaelwallent.jpg
There's a transition happening over at Microsoft! The computer company's general manager Michael Wallent will undergo surgery to become Megan Wallent, his long hidden and distinctly feminine self.

Says Valleywag:

He came out to colleagues as transgender last month, first in person and then by email. Wallent says he encountered nothing but support — mixed, of course, with some awkward curiosity.

That curiosity stems, of course, from the computer nerds' realization that they'll finally get some new masturbatory material.

Bill Gates Pin-Up

We’re sure Bill Gates is shaking in his ten-thousand dollar alligator boots with this one: A Seattle anti-gay pastor has urged his followers to buy and then dump Microsoft stock in order to drive the stock price down. Why? Because his original plan to boycott all Microsoft merchandise (including almost every brand name you"d find at Target or Sears), was just a tad too unrealistic.

Rev. Ken Hutcherson, pastor of Antioch Bible Church in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, said the stock-dumping plan had been his strategy all along.

"You got to find out how you affect a company," Hutcherson said, conceding that it would be hard to get people to shun products from companies that dominate the marketplace as Microsoft and Boeing do.

He wants supporters to buy one or two shares over the next few months, and then sell them May 1.

Over/under on how long it takes this guy to drive Microsoft into bankruptcy? Hmm, how about like, never. Do these bigots even have time anymore to actually, like pray and stuff?

Pastor Urges Microsoft Stock Buy-And-Dump [Forbes]

microsoft boycott

The new year has only just begun and conservative are already kicking it off with a bang! Can you say boycotts galore? Ford and the American Family Association have returned for a sequel to last month’s drama, which the car company triumphed. Now a bunch of fundamentalists in Washington want everyone to boycott Hewlett-Packard, Boeing, and Nike.

A pastor on Monday called for a national boycott of Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and other companies that support a gay civil rights bill, saying the corporations have underestimated the power of religious consumers.

The Rev. Ken Hutcherson, pastor of Antioch Bible Church in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, said he would formally issue the boycott Thursday on the conservative radio show Focus on the Family.
"We're tired of sitting around thinking that morals can be ignored in our country," he said. "This is not a threat, this is a promise. Check out the past presidential election. We made the moral issue the No. 1 issue."

We’d love to see these conservatives toss their new Nikes, toss their HP printers into the trash, and suddenly become very picky over the type of aircraft they fly on their next trip to Orlando for fear of putting money into the pockets of those immoral Nazis at Boeing.

They could just fly on an Airbus jet. But then they’d only be keeping the French in business and we know that they’re immoral terrorists like all of us gays.
