Queer Canadian dance outfit Fritz Helder and The Phantoms could single-handedly revive the electroclash movement. If you don't believe us, check out this ultra-gy video for "Make A Scene." Oh, and see if you can spot the increasingly blonde Nelly Furtado.

The music world's feverishly preparing for this weekend's Grammy Awards. Some artists, however, need a little more preparation than others. JJ's Dirt passes along word that Cher - who will be performing a duet with Nelly Furtado - absolutely "bombed" during rehearsal. And, as if that's not enough, the legendary entertainer has been butting heads with the considerably younger Furtado:

Cher is acting like a HUGE diva and my source says, "Cher was being bitchy because the production kept being stopped and she was asked to work on certain things in her performance. Just things as simple as to where she needed to stand. Nelly's part was amazing and Cher literally bombed."

Finally Nelly said, "I need a drink!"

My source continues, "Cher's face is so 'red' right now. She is furious speaking to staffers her saying that Nelly had the performance all worked out her way and she didn't need to listen to a 'fucking kid!'"

She's kind of got a point there…

We thought we'd see what the kids are watching these days and tuned in for a rousing episode of MTV's trl. Well, it certainly was a memorable moment, for we got to see the super extra special trl debut of Nelly Furtado's new video, "Maneater." As they do, MTV only gave us but a brief glimpse before cutting back to the studio, where the audience cheered and whistled for Ms. Furtado's accomplishment.

Um..right. First, we definitely prefer Hall & Oates song of the same title. Second, from what we saw, it was a mediocre, slightly disturbing effort from a girl we hardly recognize anymore. Take a look at the complete video (yes, we're better than MTV) for yourself, after the jump.
