Tammy Lynn Michaels’ Beautiful Poem About Melissa Etheridge Filing For Divorce
On Friday Melissa Etheridge filed a Petition for Dissolution of Domestic Partnership to legally end her relationship with Tammy Lynn Michaels, seeking joint custody of their three-year-old twins. Melissa “blindsided” Tammy last year by ending the relationship, and news finally broke in April they were done. Not helping things: Michaels’ tendency to take to her blog to write poetry about her now ex-partner. Today is no different:

A nasty break up is no excuse for horrible poetry! And publishing it on the internet, that’s just tacky!
I do hope their kidlings avoid getting dragged through the mud. It’s up to the adults in any breakup to minimise the effects on the offspring.

Also, thank you for your kind words of concern about the effects of this relationship ending on the custody issues. After all, ME & TLM do have to worry about their c/h/i/l/d/r/e/n, something which your posts addressed so carefully !

I feel terrible for Tammy Lynn. Melissa, and Rosie, for that matter have demonstrated that LGBT relationships are no different that straight. One minute we are professing our undying love and a minute later we publicly destroying those same relationships.
It just legitimizes the Right Wing narrative that Gay people cannot have long lasting and meaningful relationships.

Melissa Etheridge is like many celebrities; narcissistic and self absorbed who act like most predators; quick to act and go for the throat. They do what they want, walk away when they want. Sadly, and rather..hmm uck, she probably has a younger blonde waiting in the wings. I hope Tammy has a full house where a support system is concerned, and is able to keep the children with her.
