Queerty is better as a member
You have one talent Taylor, you cannot emote, your delivery is wooden and you have little charisma.
@ 2eo – MEOUCH !
@2eo: and who cares if he can’t act?!!!
@DirtyOleMan: Never said I didn’t enjoy his talent, which I most certainly do.
I thought all gay men love being shirtless all the time.
If you’re tired, take a nap.
Or perhaps you could take some of the hundreds of thousands of dollars you’ve made from appearing in these movies and hire someone to take it off for you…
Now STFU and lose the shirt.
Awwwwww…poor little pup…give him a cookie…….
@balehead: I’ll give him something to eat… won’t be a cookie.
yes, everyone should take off their shirts off at least once. except the girls. ewww.
@2eo: Poor thing doesn’t realize the ONLY reason he is being paid is to look hot and take off his shirt. Funny that he thinks he will have an acting career after the series completes, and the promotions end.
Judging by the picture, the best solution would be for him not to put the shirt *on* in the first place :)
Taylor, this is Haagen-Dazs. Haagen-Dazs, Taylor.
Fine don’t take off his shirt. I’ll settle for taking off his pants lol
@NYCJD: I think little Taylor sweetie is entirely capable of having a successful and lucrative acting career. Hell, if The Rock can do it, anyone can, and Taylor is a lot more attractive than him.
Jealous much, most of you? He is a kid, a KID, you do realize? FFS, he was only 15 when Twilight was filmed.
@Katbox: Only the hot ones honey! the rest of us would be stoned to death or burned at the stake. @The Real Mike in Asheville: As I am not a teenaged girl or boy or someone with that mentality. I have never seen these movies or read the books. However I do think that you should save your righteous indignation for something that actually matters.
@Dumdum: Well Dumdum, you forgot the “b”s in your name. I’m 52, didn’t read any of the books, caught the movies on HBO, certainly not the best of films but entertaining.
So, Dumdum, you think its okay to trash talk children? Sure hope you don’t have any,
Taylor, do what Keanu Reeves did and try some Shakespeare. He did the role of Hamlet in Winnipeg. The reasons it never made it out of Winnipeg are too numerous to list here.
@The Real Mike in Asheville: We are the same age, however I saw only a bunch of lame comments by immature people with poor taste in entertainment. We live in a society that thrives on the exploitation of youth and beauty. I am not saying that it is right, but what is the point of trying to condemn or condone that which has been a part of human society since before recorded time?
Women with no talent would have to bank on their tit and bum. Same rule here.
His teenage girly fans wouldn’t stand for it though. You lose their support your done.
If I were him, I’d actually be eternally grateful I have such a hot body and amazing genes, because let’s be honest, it’s the only thing that’s gonna get him roles and keep him relevant, seeing as he can’t act for shit to put it mildly.
@Niall: Who needs acting with a sophomoric story line and C.G.I. I actually tried to read the first book and it was so bad I couldn’t make it through the first paragraph. Thank the Gods I hadn’t gone out and bought the thing! Henry David Thoreau wrote. “How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.”
Well if we look back a couple years, we will remember that he was told that he would be replaced in the third movie if he did not buff up because his part required him to be hot as fuck in a beasty and muscular way. Ostensibly because of the stereotype of his werewolf character, but most obviously to ramp up the sex appeal in a way that skinny gingers like RPatz just can’t. He spent months working on that sexy upper body of his in order to make sure that he could keep his role–He himself did this. So if he didn’t realize that he would be required to take off his shirt, given the role he was playing, given the genre he was working in and given the fact that they said they’d fire him if he didn’t make his body into a model’s body protno, then I wonder what he thought he would be doing.
Lautner could always star in a remake of “Valley of the Dolls” or “Where the Boys Are!”
I kind of agree. Taylor is horrible actor. He is only wanted because he is hot as hell half-naked. If he ever finds a role with any real depth that requires him to leave his shirt on it will be amazing. Its much more likely he would end up as a bottom in a porno than that he would ever do any serious acting.
@Dumdum: Except that it has NOT been part of human history for all of time. The definition of beauty has changed repeatedly over the course of time. For the vast majority of time though, it has been the beautiful naked female that graces the pages of Playboy. The male form has not been seen as the ideal beauty since the Catholic Church destroyed the Roman Empire.
@Dumdum: You have to remember who these are being written by and who they are being marketed to. They are written by a Mormon bitch on a crusade to condone stupidity. Its a Mormon conspiracy. I can guarantee you the writer of these books is supporting Mitt Romney for President.
**I’m really not this crazy, but it sounds good!**
@tdx3fan: I am pretty sure that primitive man as well as the entire animal kingdom has standards of beauty and attraction. It is part of the biological imperative to breed. During the renaissance the church took away the sexuality but not the form. Never overt but always suggested.
Hmmm, to me, you write “…what is the point of trying to condemn or condone that which has been a part of human society since before recorded time?”
vs. what you wrote Niall “Henry David Thoreau wrote. “How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.”
If one does not stand up against morons or society that picks on kids, then, please explain, Thoreau’s “I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor.”
Obviously, we agree much more than disagree.
Let me close, at 52, you too have not just witnessed, but LIVED during a world-wide break against anti-homosexual mores that have been a part of human society since before recorded time. It is that unquestionable ability of man to elevate one’s life, in spite of vast opposition, that makes the successes we have been a party the encouragement to elevate even higher. Certainly equality has further battles to fight — but when you and I were born, nowhere in our country could two men even legally consent to engage in sex with eachother and today, I am married to my partner of 26 years. And within in a few years, our marriage will be recognized throughout the nation.
@Dumdum: Oops, hit sent before retracting my catty missing “b’s” remark; I’ve read your other post on this string, and others, so, I was certainly wrong about that.
@The Real Mike in Asheville: I believe our differences make us stronger. We are you and I peers, if only in age, perhaps it goes further. I would like to call you friend. If that is acceptable, Please contact me at. email@example.com I feel that you should know that I have a brain tumor it is benign, however I am given to moments of irrational thought. One might think that this is an excuse but it is not. Sometimes I feel it coming and thinking that I am strong and can move beyond it have said things and gone way off topic. I have looked back and seen comments here that I do not recall posting. Diet, exercise and the reduction of stress is key. I do hope that you will consider responding to one another via email. I do think of myself as a dinosaur but for YOU to say that, really pissed me off. We are brothers you and I and as such I feel a discourse beyond Queerty is acceptable. Yours sincerely. DD.
So easy to go from flaming assholes to pilot lights. We’re talking about a cinematic “Ken” doll, not an actual talent in terms of acting. He’s cute, nice butt; end of story! As for age, I’m 62, but not dead yet.
