Fallen Evangelical leader Ted Haggard keeps finding himself in the news!
The disgraced preacher man, who returned to Colorado Springs after being sent into exile, always claimed that he didn’t do any drugs with his rent boy, Mike Jones, but a leaked email sent to a friend says otherwise. And it also provides some more details on his relationship with Jones:
I was referred to Mike Jones from the concierge at a Marriott hotel when I asked for a masseur. It was during the massage that it started to become sensual, and that led to him masturbating me. That was and is our only sexual contact, but it was immoral and it was this experience that caused me to confess immorality in my letter of resignation from New Life Church. During the conversation with Mike during and after the time he masturbated me, he told me about some drugs that he could get for me that would enhance my masturbation experience. I returned on five occasions and bought those drugs. I actually used them three times, throwing them away in shame before use two times. It is for these offenses that I confessed being immoral and deceitful.
Haggard sent the email, dated October 7, 2007, to his family friend and former follower Kurt Serpe.
With the leaking of the email, Serpe offered his thoughts on Haggard’s fragile psyche:
“He craved sex, he was a sexaholic,” says Serpe. He believes it had nothing to do with homosexuality, but more about masturbation and gratification. “This is something that he has been struggling with all of his life,” says Serpe. He says Haggard told him the relationship lasted only three-months…
Jones clocked the time at three years. We’re not sure who to believe – the lying religious leader or the hooker. We’re leaning toward the hooker…
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Jones may be a ho, but he’s an honest ho; whereas Haggard is a duplicitous, soul-soliciting turd, and I hate him.

Haggard reeks of smarmy, snake oil salesman nastiness! The ChristiaNazi Sheeple must really be suckers to ever have given him the time of day.

Then, as far as evangelicals are concerned, homosexuality can be seen as merely a form of mutual masturbation, which means that’s it’s really a minor sin, like telling a white lie. Gay marriage is nothing more than a contract for mutual masturbation. No big deal. Phew! Looks like we’re all getting into Paradise, after all.

What else can we expect from media whores like Haggard?

There was a scripture (I’m not sure which) that someone posted in reply to a blog article the other day stating that God plays no favorites when it comes to sin. So (for those who like to live their lives based on the Bible), if being gay is a sin, it’s not exactly worse in God’s eyes than any “hetero” sin. I thought it was an interesting tidbit, anyway.

How long until he’s found with in another gay tryst? Maybe a year or two.
Geoffrey
Didn’t he go through a whole lengthy ‘3 week’ conversion process and proclaim he was ‘cured’ of his gayness?

These people make me sick. Every single word out of their religious mouths are pure lies. They wouldn’t know the truth if it gave them a massage and masturbated them.
Charles
I’m sorry, did he find this amoral before or after the booty bump and found his lips wrapped around a dick? How much meth did he do before he “tossed it away”? was there any left to “toss away?” How many boys in the church did he molest along the way?
Todd's Rules
The only thing left, as far as career options, for this crackpot are either used car sales or circus freak. He is the poster-boy for “Floating Down the River of Denial”…!
The fact that he fooled so many people is a true testament to the sheep mentality of these poor saps.

Ted Haggard, it was reported by the media, chose to end his “Reformation Period” earlier than was planned and moved back to his $715K Colorado Springs house with his family.
With an annual tax bill of $3858. plus the normal bills associated with a house of that worth, how does the good, ex-Reverend Haggard plan on paying the bills?
Selling pencils with religious inscriptions stamped into them, on the corner?
