Black civil rights icon and GA Congressman John Lewis may have switched his endorsement to Obama after a competitor for his seat made it clear he was going to make an issue in the election of Lewis, unlike most of his constituents, supporting Sen. Clinton, but I’ve not heard anything about his retracting these statements about the Swift Boating of the Clintons as so-called racists by the Obama Borg and Lewis is in a far better position to judge such things and the players than Queerty, me, Memoli, Phillips, David Wright, et al.

“I think there’s been a deliberate, systematic attempt on the part of some people in the Obama camp to really fan the flame of race …. President Clinton and Senator Clinton have a long record of working to bring people together. Long before President Clinton ever dreamed of running for president, long before Senator Clinton ever dreamed of running for president, they have a history, a very, very long history. And no right-thinking, informed American would ever believe that President Clinton or Mrs. Clinton would do anything to use the race card. The Obama camp is… sending out memos to members of the media, trying to suggest that the Clintons are playing the race card.”

Black Congressman of over 3 decades, House Ways & Means Chair, and cofounder of the Congressional Black Caucus Charlie Rangel, who’s been arrested in protests against apartheid, police racism, and human rights abuses in the Sudan, commented on the Obama Borg tactics this way:

“The people who are injecting race into the campaign are overanalyzing poorly worded statements or meaningless slips.,I’m angry because I’m looking for the white people that are insulting me, and I can’t find them.”

But hacks like Phillips are still looking for them.

And Ms. Blake, ya wanna talk lies? I have a whole box of them from St. Obama’s mouth…WITH DOCUMENTATION.

E.g., claiming he was conceived in passions aroused during the great Selma March…which didn’t happen until four years after he was born!

E.g., claiming his first name is Arabic, then claiming it’s Swahili.

E.g., claiming the passed a nuke industry regulation bill in Illinois…that never passed at all.

E.g., claiming Jay Rockefeller voted against the Iraq authorization … when he voted for it.

E.g., claiming he was inspired by a Ebony magazine article about the damage of skin whitening…which Ebony can’t find in their archives.

E.g., claiming that in the some 1000 Sunday services he likely attended at Rev. Jeremiah Wrong’s church he NEVER once heard him preach any of the reactionary stupidity that all those videos document.
