Nice he’s enjoying himself while one of our staunchest allies (Georgia) goes down the tubes.

With all due respect to straight men and lesbians, I was a bit irked over the weekend by the slavish, slobbering, and excessive coverage of women’s beach volleyball. It was an athletic event reduced to T&A show, and a shameless wallow in the objectification of athletes.

Now, please, NBC: more wall-to-wall coverage of male gymnasts, divers, and swimmers who don’t wear those ridiculous body suits…

Now I know why he was always checking his watch during the opening ceremonies…such a lovely example to set after cramming a Christian service down the throats of the Chinese leadership.

Oh yea…and telling them their take on human rights is crap (which it is, but President Pot need not scold Chairman Kettle).

@ CitizenGeek who said ‘Hah, this guy is actually the leader of the world’s most powerful country!’

I always have to laugh when I hear about the ‘most powerful country’!

Firstly the most powerful country is CONTROLLED by, and is a PROVINCE of, israel!

http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/clilist.htm

Secondly, you are confusing powerful with military, destructive might and the capability to invade countries at will and murder innocent people! Is the capacity to be a BULLY powerful?

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/396.html

Thirdly, a powerful country is a country that is honest and fair and wants all it’s citizens and the rest of the world to be truly free and be themselves! Not a country that has a PRIVATELY OWNED MONEY PRINTING FEDERAL RESERVE!!!!!!!

Lastly, The US is the most manipulated, EVIL, HEARTLESS, HYPOCRITICAL country on this planet, run by first class criminal psychopaths, causing untold suffering to Billions of people!

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/387.html

I’ll be glad to see the day it is brought to its senses!

In the greater scheme of things it is long past its ‘sell-by’ date!

i will say this about bush. i was surprised how in the opening ceremony i saw coverage of him and laura finding their seats. interestingly bush made his way to his seat with people around where he was sitting barely noticing. it was as though he was a common man, which was quite interesting. one man out of billions. forshadowing. the other interesting moment for me was seeing photos similar to this one, wherein it was very evident to me the lengths to which bush has aged while in office. he is becoming an old man and i felt a sense of warmth towards him in that he is similar in age/profile to that of my own father.

just sayin’

he will soon be a common man.
