You have never seen anything like this music video for “Imma Homo,” which is too bad, because it is THE AWESOME. From something called Rainbow Noise Entertainment (“a lesbian owned record label specializing in LGBTQ music artist with an independent name and mainstream appeal”), we’ve got stud dykes, bulldaggers, hipster twinks, and lipsticks getting raunchy. And with lyrics like “I’m in this bitch / Everything rojo / Feet kicked up with a blunt / Watching LOGO,” and, “My ego gettin’ bigger / Hate on me, hate on we / My L-G-B-T / Reppin’ for my faggot family,” well, this is the shit.

They actually rhyme “hate on we” with “faggot family,” but whatever. still good video

I’m a classist.
Nathan
I like it, it’s a step in the right direction.
Kev C
I can’t listen to rap music because it triggers PTSD attacks.
scribe
I liked it… wished they didn’t use to n-word… but whatever… favorite line “smoking a blunt feet up watching logo” lol
JadeLycra
Why do we have to move towards the materialistic, sex crazed tendencies of the mainstream rap industry? Why couldn’t the lyrics be about something other than “beatin’ that pussy up”? I think that would have been a step in the right direction.
Seva
What a freak show. This vid is going to get mad dislikes on Youtube. The “girls” are as ugly as any females to ever walk the face of the Earth. They all look and talk like dudes.
Talk about stereotypes. And anyone who uses “LGBT” in a rap or in every day language deserves to be exiled to Libya.
Paul
This video is HOT!!!
Armand

Nope. This is not good. At all.
Saywhatnow?
@Sceth: I liked the song, but your response was awesome. I giggled.

@Nathan: Yes it is…just in the fact that the video was put up on youtube about a week ago, and with the postings on Outhiphop.com and GayMusicRevolution.com last week, it has gone viral.
Johnny A
Nope. This video isn’t doing anybody any favors — still the B.S. women bashing, crotch grabbing crap. Trying to emulate some folks that went before them who didn’t deserve it. Seriously – you guys are talented, use it.

Nice, nigger . . faggot . . . figures it would be a lesbian owned record label.
Two steps forward, 5 steps back.
Makes me like Born This Way more and mores. BASTARDS !!!

I like it.. Too bad for the mysogeny

When they do the opera or the romantic country ballads let me know. But as usual, there’s no accounting for taste, and some will like it, some will hate it, some will say it does this or that, instead of realizing that it’s a high school project that will stay very very hidden from the hetero world, and will probably be a flash for a week or so before something else comes along. I doubt we’ll hear it on a radio station anytime soon, or see it at an awards show. There’s no political mileage for anyone to get out of it. It’s a curiosity, and nothing more.
Todd
This is pretty awful. Dumb. Self indulgent. Boring.
To the degree that the video actually attempts to convey a message, I think it’s hypocritical.
Bryan
Never liked rap, and not even a pro-gay rap song that still has all the typical, crappy rap lingo in it can ever change that.
ousslander
don’t like the use of nigger or faggot but other wise great beat and surprisingly good rhymes.
ousslander
@Seva: yes we should all be clones
JM
@ 2:15 – This guy (“Endivisual”) is just awesome. Great message, no misogyny, and bonus points for limited (and thus more effective) use of the word “fuck”. Other than his rap, though, there is a lot of “beat that pussy up” kind of talk, which is just awful coming from anyone, but especially a lesbian. I hope these artists’ next projects are more like his.
JT
Ugh I like rap and hip hop but this was just very bad.
I did like the part about blazing that L and watching logo.
I noticed how they didn’t put anything in there about people who are bisexual even though they had a TS woman and everything else was about young butch dykes or homo wannabe thugs.
ousslander
know it’s an old post but had time to think and have changed my opinion. I can’t chastise others for using the words by supporting others, even if they are gay. Like the beat but will not be buying and or playing the song.

@Seva: you are a complete @ss just sayin
